Excellent for all door to door sales reps

I have knocked doors off and on for over 11 years in 4 different industries. I have followed the author's blog for the last year or so, and finally made time to read this book. After reading the book, I would highly recommend it as the second book you read, after your company's official training manual. It is that perfectly suited. There are other sales books that you will find valuable, but none is more applicable to door to door sales.

Excellent

I've done d2d cable sales for 13 years this book and recaps many sales techniques forgotten and many more that have not been taught. Great book for any d2d sales job or any sales job in general.

I have heard and used most of his techniques but it was good to hear some things stated in a different way. Great refresher before a sales season. It's like my companies training manual but on tape

A manual for sales success!

read it! Form your own opinion...if you are truly a life long learner this will resonate with you. If you know everything about sales and make a ton of money now, then it will be hard for you to find the value.... For all others it will help!

Good Book, Easy to Comprehend

I liked this book a lot since it's door to door specific and that's my current side hustle. The only thing that I didn't like was a glaring contradiction - that market doesn't matter. This is a myth and he contradicts himself later on when saying areas with high cancellation rates should be avoided. Same for rent heavy areas if you sell security, solar, etc. I suspect the reason for this is that most D2D sales guys are young college kids who more likely just suck at sales and probably have zero market analysis skills or knowledge. D2D sales offices have enormous turnover - so there is a lot of internal sales to keep people sold on continuing to knock, the end result are sales myths spreading and making reps too agressive, they waste time on non buyers, etc. The book Way of The Wolf spends a lot of time on this. The better you target and weed, the more time you talk to closable people. I have personally seen how big the difference can be.

Great book!

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I am new to the profession and have not had a chance to put these principles to use. I am very optimistic about my new career after reading this book.

inspirational, motivational and educational read

i feel much more confident knocking on doors after listening to this audible book. it helped tremendously to see where i was going wrong and exactly what i need to do to fix it. Thankyou i highly recommend this program
