I expected this vision to be different.

I am fond of ADHD books, but to tell the truth, I mostly can't read or listen to them until halfway through. So much repetition, old concepts already heard many times, or information that can easily be found online. Audiobooks, most of the time, have a low-quality narration that prevents me from finish to listen. This book is different, a breath of fresh air. The narrator did a superb job. I will buy the paperback because it deserves a place of honor in my library, and I will have to reread it and make annotations several times. Finally, a real help for those like me who are affected by ADHD. Unique.

You made my day!

You saved my life. I'm speechless with what I realized. Then it was not me who was inferior because I quickly forgot everything; it was not me who was strange because when I felt interested, I would lose myself until the achievement, or I would get tired and bored right away when the appeal was lacking. I could add many riffles, but everyone is different, and it is suitable for everyone to see their shortcomings and strengths. Listen to it or read it, and you won't regret it.

Newly diagnosed

I did not know about ADHD until 5 months ago when the psychologist diagnosed me with ADHD. I am 56 years old and have had a troubled life. I still managed to build a successful business. At first, the psychologist told me that I could not recover from the syndrome and that it would stay with me all my life. This seemed like a very negative judgment and depressed me a lot. I started looking for information about ADHD but realized I needed clear, consequential information that was not scattered and fragmented. Listening to this audio, I found what I was looking for. Optimally concatenated information. After a brief but comprehensive explanation of ADHD, we get into the nitty-gritty, and the information and solutions are mind-blowing, at least for me. It is not the things the psychologist told me but another vision of the positive side of the story. One feels that the author is an expert and indeed an authority in the field. It opened up a new world for me, which I can hardly describe, but I would say fantastic. I recommend anyone dealing with or affected by ADHD to listen to this audio. It is positively changing my life.

It describes me perfectly.

I knew it was talking about me and my life from the beginning. It isn't easy to describe what this book caused in me. I am reviewing the past with new eyes. I finally understand all the oddities of my life. When I was diagnosed with ADHD years ago, no one explained the mechanisms and everything that this book made me understand. From the negativity of my condition, never understanding why I am the way I am, to being proud to be the way I am. A profound and radical change, unexpected but remarkable. Thank you, William! Highly recommended.

Perfectionism is my problem!

I am an unbelievable perfectionist, I also thought I was being fair, but I had forgotten that by doing so, I was procrastinating, starting work but never being satisfied I would not finish it. The mechanisms of ADHD, the focus only when there is interest, self-doubt, and low self-esteem explained in this book, with its solutions, are an unpayable gift. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Life-changing adhd information .

As a 70 year old,I found this book to be invaluable as a part of my process to understand ADHD and it's ramifications in my life. Finding out that many of my "bad" qualities were not my fault was so freeing. I also learned that many of these symptoms were related to qualities that I am proud of.
Note: At first I felt the reader's voice was too monotone, but soon realized it actually had a calming effect.

A refreshing change!!

I'm a manic perfectionist. Everyone has always told me that I exaggerate. I always thought I was just someone who wanted to do things right, though. The problem is the frustration of never finishing what I've started so fervently and immediately starting something else before completing what I've already done. This audiobook has revealed to me the mechanism behind this fixation of mine that causes me so many problems. I understood why I am never satisfied with what I do and what to do to change this way of being that causes me frustration and depression. The author showed me all the hidden sides, which was great. Also, the chapter "anger management" affects me very closely. Fantastic book to listen to repeatedly to absorb the amount of information and solutions. Written in a simple but profound way, it touches all the points of my personality, revealing the mechanisms and solutions to me. Very pleasant and enjoyable to listen to.

What are you waiting for?

After listening to this audio, I could write a book to describe what is happening to my husband and me. After 35 years of marriage, finally, my husband can understand what is happening to me and why I am the way I am. This book gives me the keys to understanding and changing many sides of my life. That was disturbing and stressful even for my family. I have realized that acceptance is the first step to a radical change. The chapters on family and relationships are enlightening. As a family, we are discussing, even with our 2 children, the new visions this audio gives us. The narration is at a truly professional level, not unlike other audios where narration has been a hindrance. I have to thank the author for this fantastic book. And you do not wait to listen to it, you won't regret it.

A Silent Struggle

Precisely as in the title, it has been my life. Not knowing the enemy and not knowing where the enemy is. This book lets you know what happened and that you are ok the way you are. You have to understand and change your point of view. Positive and motivating, a book like this was needed. I finished the struggle. Now there is peace and contentment, security and confidence. Priceless. I love the narration, very professional and high quality.

The divergent mind

The chapter " the differently wired brain" changed my world. I am 41 years old. I am a single mother, and now, I have the answer to how I am and act for the first time. The chapter explains in a simple, scientific, but understandable way for every one of us how a brain with ADHD is structured. A revelation! In this audiobook, you will not listen to the usual information to fill or stretch the audio; you can easily find Info's online. Each chapter is so significant and essential. Original content and new explanations and solutions to listen to again and again. All chapters are worth noting, but the one "ADHD and sexuality" was significant for me. I had never seen this aspect of the syndrome.
