Very very good.

What made the experience of listening to Stress Management the most enjoyable?

Just the fact that it was so easy to understand, easy to follow and easy to implement. Contained a lot of very unique advice and tips.

What did you like best about this story?

Its not a story but what I liked best is the last half of the book as it contained so many different techniques and strategies.

Which character – as performed by Rachel Perry – was your favorite?

? Not that sort of book!

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Not one specific thing, more the fact that dealign with stress and anxiety CAN actually be beaten or at the very least lessened.

Any additional comments?

Everything in the book felt realistic. No stupid false promises here, just really good interesting and unique strategies and info. Thank you to the author for writing such a useful book.

Excellent narrator paired with a great book!

This book was a breath of fresh air. Everybody has stress, and not all of us can handle it to the best of our advantage. Rachel's voice was relaxing, and what Sarah had to say about anxiety really made sense. This book won't tell you stress is OK, but it won't put you on a "no-stress" regime either (which leads to more stress!). I could listen to this book like ASMR!

Thanks Sarah!

Great book to help combat stress!

This book gave great insight on stress triggers and techniques on how to elevate the impact of stress on the daily life. Be warned, however, you’re going to want to break out your daily journal to help track your progress through this process. The author is certainly clear that not every technique is for everyone but presents them in a tasteful way so as not to create more stress to become less stressed.
I have yet to encounter an anti-stress book that does anything but tell you to disconnect yourself from social media as much as possible. This book is unique in that it encourages social media to help connect and bring positivity into those connections. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to tackle (in your own way at your own pace) the stresses of daily life.

De-stressing your life can start today

First of all, happiness is a choice and that is one message I took away immediately I started listening to this audiobook. Stress is part of life and at the end of the day, we all feel stress
differently. There are some of us that react more to stress while others are able to push it down and are still productive. Either way, ignoring or coping with stress is dangerous and could manifest in ways that you least expect.

Stress management starts with identifying the source of your stress, which could be work, family or financial difficulties. These can all be solvable or even managed so that we are able to achieve some semblance of serenity. This book is all about shedding away bad habits and picking on new ones. The narrator asks us to pick a few things that we want to achieve with the book and this is a very important stress management strategy.

When I first rated my stress level and wrote down things that affected me, I was a bit surprised that it was a pretty long list. This helped me to identify the stress busters that worked for me. Look, everything listed in this book will not work the same for everybody but
the seven-day startup plan is a great way to ease into the process of changing your life.

The seven-day plan allows you to ease yourself into living a stress-free like. One of the most important points that this book recommends is making a plan with your partner. This is important because if you are living with someone who you spend plenty of time with, chances are they will be crucial to help you achieve your goals or be serious stumbling blocks to your startup plan. Also, starting your seven-day plan on a weekend also helps you to start off easy with minimal distractions.

One section of this book that I am grateful for is the chapter that focuses on online health. Social media is now a critical part of most people’s lives and can be a serious source of stress for us today. You should make sure that your use of social media does not cause you undue harm, self-esteem issues or stress. Try your best not to follow toxic people that are either abusive or make you unduly stressed out.

If you need to be continuously online and posting updates of your life, you should bear in mind that you will also see things that you wish you didn’t, things that will affect your mood. Do your best to decide how best you want to use social media and stick to it. If it means reducing your activity only, you should do that. Just make sure you shape it in such a way that you can take positive things. These include funny pictures and videos (not those rooted in meanness). Stay away from negative things like distressing videos and blogs that are famous for bad news.

Remember that your input into your system and mind is very important to your well-being. Take time to celebrate activities and milestones.

EXTREMELY GOOD GUIDES WITH BRILLIANT EXPOSURE

Surely you will concur with me that the way to stress management is for all but it's road is thin. The narrator: Rachel Perry gave the performance the best and the book really worth it. I LOVE IT.

I have been battling with anxiety and stress but at the time i got in the middle of this book and not to say the end; i was relieved. In fact, you shouldn't listen to this book alone, why being selfish! share with others and let us all expand the way to relaxation from this book.

This book will make you feel all, (I mean A-L-L) what you have felt about stress so far and will give you a transformation. Don't doubt it! Listen and Enjoy!! Be Free!!!

Something a little different

Any additional comments?

Definitely not the sort of book i would usually go for, i am more of a fiction fan, but i really wanted something to help me as i felt under increasing amounts of stress in my personal and work life. Obviously a book is not going to magically save everything but it most definitely helped me along the way and made me think about things in a very different way than before.

So much better than i expected

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Took a bit of a chance with this one as to be honest i wasn't convinced by the audio sample but i turned out to be a great chance to take. I had to keep pausing it to take in the info as it seemed, quite literally, the books as talking to me and my life.

I have a lot to owe to this book

A no holds barred way to absolve stress!

The audiobook provides a very reassuring narrative that stress is prevalent and normal within our society, helping you to feel less alien in such a disconnected world. The first step to overcoming stress is the admission of this fact. It’s a sure-fire way to lead you into the stress-free life that we’ve always dreamed of by understanding our stress triggers to take away with their power.

The audio book helps you to view the positive attributes of stress and diminishes the weight of the negative. It helped me to cure my insomnia and my inability to deal with confrontation. It’s packed full of inspirational quotes around placed around great practical methods which can help you instil confidence within yourself. The author; Sarah Wright provides simplistic and beneficial advice that helps you to diffuse stress as it’s happening and teaches you to simplify your life so that you don’t have to miss out on any of the good stuff. She encourages you to be empowered by yourself, and work under her guidance to become the best version of your being.

Helpful.

I took a chance on this, not really believing it would help much - but it very much did.

Stress, anxiety and everything related to it has a habit of creeping into our lives (it did for me), but dealing with it is a lot more complicated than it might seem, but it can be simplified with some of the stuff in this book, especially in the second half.

Narration was good, clear and easy to understand.
