In this time when so many physicians and other professionals are experiencing burnout, reading this book many very well offer a prescription, without side effects, for that ailment.

Empathy: A History give a detailed history of Empathy, more so the word usage. Like most histories it is a little dry, and well organized. Just don't expect to gain an understanding of how Empathy works

I enjoyed this book quite a bit, it has a lot of great information. It even has recipes for helping protect oneself. I just wish there were more to it. The book was shorter than I was hoping for. Otherwise, fantastic read, I highly recommend to all empaths. Especially the lost ones. Blessed Be

Pragmatic book. You can easily label it as "out there" but if you take the time to try some of the things without fiddling with the ideas they work very well. Take the time out to try some of the ideas, they're worth it.
