An introduction to the topic

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If it was really about hypnotic sales, I could have rate it more.<br/>Though this work is a good introduction.<br/>But it does not talk about hypnotic sale method...

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting is the overall idea.<br/>The least interesting are some ideas that I do not agree at all... Craig Beck's definition of the ego is to much Yungian for me... The same for his subconscious topic... Hum not convincing at all (even wrong for me!)

How could the performance have been better?

If it had really spoken about hypnotic sales method...

As an hypnotherapist I feel this is not a book over hypnotic sale methods...<br/>But this is still a good introduction that I recommend...

Great if you sell cars

No, I would not. No at all what the book touts. If you want to be a great car salesman then I all mean buy this book. It will fill you with tricks and deception, but no real solid sales techniques. I question if Craig as any sales background at all.

He does present the story quite well. He is a joy to listen to.

Changes are abounding for this listener

What did you love best about The Hypnotic Salesman II?

I love how he communicated on my level. He spoke about things that I would understand.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Craig Beck because he is entertaining and informative.

What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Craig Beck's accent enhanced the story. Many non-British people, like myself, are drawn to British accents.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I only laughed at one joke that he made at the end. It was really funny.

Any additional comments?

I just finished listening to the book, and now I'm looking forward to applying it to my job where sales is key. I am looking forward to the better success rate with my work.

AMAZING!

This book has improved my conversations and sales. It has shown me how to properly establish comfort and trust within the prospect. I teach dance but always had a problem speaking with customers. Not anymore, Thank you Craig.

To the point sales techniques

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend it to anyone in sales. Unlike many other sales books, it gives you to the point techniques which you can instantly implement into your pitch. Craig Beck keeps it interesting with his enthusiasm and sometimes anecdotal approach to each persuasion technique he teaches.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hypnotic Salesman II to be better than the print version?

Yes I like the audio because I do not read books. Enjoy listening much better. Craig puts expression where it needs to be. I really enjoy listening to him!

What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Really not applicable - this is not a story book and audible.com should do a better job of allowing us to rate books based on the type of book it is. But to answer the question the best I can - The experience of this book would not have been as effective without hearing the inflection of the author's voice and how he emphasizes certain points. Also, the author has a very pleasant English accent which makes the experience even greater in my opinion

Again - this is not a story book.

The author only list a small amount of pointers of selling relative to many other sales books that give many, many more sales pointers. So why am I so enthusiastic about this book??? Well, because the pointers this author gives are by far the most important ones a salesperson can use. The points he gives are extremely effective, and if used properly can increase a salesperson's income substantially. This is not an overstatement. It did mine and I've been selling for many years and have always been at the top. I have made significantly more income having listened to this book (3 times). I have read / listened to many sales books in my years and many are good and many are just so so but this one is the best and most effective (possibly only tied with "The New Science of Persuasion & Influence:- also by the same author). But The Hypnotic Salesman II is more basic as the other has more subtle / advanced techniques. Not that an experienced salesperson would not benefit greatly from The Hypnotic Salesman II, quite the contrary and I would definitely recommend listening to the The Hypnotic Salesman II first regardless if a novice of experienced salesperson.

very useful element of persuasion

If you could sum up The Hypnotic Salesman II in three words, what would they be?

a great book written on the fundamentals of people's/buyers' mindset and what matters to them and how they make a decision.

What did you like best about this story?

The explanation of the psychology of human beings and what are the most common important things to them

What about Craig Beck’s performance did you like?

good explanations and comparisons however spends too many words on personal stories

All about nothing

A complete waste of time. Talk about going around the houses. Feel completely missold. Could have been condensed into one page.
