Publisher's Summary

Originally designed to give the sales executives of a major national commercial radio group the edge over their competitors, 12 years later the Hypnotic Salesman II drills down on the seven most powerful sales persuasion techniques in the world today. The secrets in this book will explode your closure rates, smash your targets and give you valuable insights into human motivation and persuasion.

Craig Beck will explain each principle in detail and then show you how, if you follow it directly with another, you will create an unbreakable chain of events. Willpower and even a stubborn personality are no defense against these amazing but easily learned techniques.

What you will discover in this book will change and improve your interaction with everyone in your life. Not just with sales prospects but with your friends, family, and partners too. People have used these techniques to blast their targets, improve their careers, understand their children better, and even find and attract the man or woman of their dreams.

Foolish

Craig has a very misguided and foolish lack of understanding the difference between abject truth, which is absolute, and subjective opinion. Especially in the areas of origins, good vs evil, historical facts and biological science. Best to not torture yourself listening to his inaccurate, opinionated foolish rants.

Good Advice For Craft Fayres and shop businesses.

Good advice but aimed more at face to face salespeople where as most sales are now done on line. Although you can figure out a bit to use on line from the main part he only touches on emails in the last chapter and then its to get a person to accept a face to face meeting. In this respect the material is a bit dated but useful if you run a craft stall or something or are an actual car salesperson type. Would I say its worth listening to, Yes but don't expect a lot to do with online sales. With pandemics and fast moving businesses now E-marketing and selling is more the norm nowadays and a book on how to influence through print, photos and video would be more suited to todays market. Most of the time the person we sell to are just a name and address. So Craig come on, get with the times old chap! That said, don't write the book off as a waste of time because it could force that craft day or summer fayre sale and increase your impact at these vital functions.

very average

Nothing special, one or two very basic hypnotic principles, the books are bundled together however there is nothing at all of value in the first book, it just tells you what your gonna learn....but never get to the point. the author uses a feature called ducking incorrectly, which basic means there is a horrible machine noise in the background throughout the entire books, from a supposedly top class radio presenter I thought you would have at least had clear audio. I dont recommend this book at all. He does have a good radio voice in fairness!

Meh

Just OK - the best thing about the book is the title, no new take home messages if you have ever read any sales book.
