This audiobook attempts to help you push your limits slowly but surely.

I have tried my best to keep language simple and easy to understand. The recipes are all very easy to replicate and moreover, are so flexible that you can add your own creativity to match your likes and dislikes. Simple, easy to understand, and yet motivating enough for a learner to grasp and appreciate the core of veganism, this audiobook, I sincerely hope, will add value to your life and you, in turn, can pass on the learning to your loved ones.

Additionally, there is an unmitigated flood of fad diets available that are not only useless but also leave the experimenters with a feeling of bitterness. Veganism is a tried and tested method to keep fit and healthy and not just a diet but a way of life. It has the power to change your mental and physical conditions for the better and, finally, the methods employed promise you slow but steady and sustained results.

I’m Now “Woke

Thank you, Russell Simmons, for writing this book and spewing all of this truth about what we are putting in our bodies. As an African American, I appreciated hearing your story and all of the statistics, especially regarding African American health. I was no where near a vegan, but I don’t plan on eating another bite of meat after what I heard. Except for the meditation and mantra piece, I truly took this book to heart.

Real and Insightful!!

5 stars across the board! The performance by Black Ice was amazing and nice to listen to! The story was real and insightful! Russell Simmons gave great examples and factual points supporting his choices to be a compassionate Vegan! After listening to this book, it was all I needed to change my habits! It is a must read for anyone trying to decide if a Vegan lifestyle is right for them!

Life Altering Book

Thankful.

I was born vegan and got off track by eating fish, over the years I became very ill. I return to my vegan lifestyle however My spouse was not a vegan, but after visiting families earlier in the she decided to become a vegan with me. Now she motivates me even more never to get back off track and eat fish again, and she is always finding good reads like this book, now I’m recommending it to all my family; friends, and people in my vegan group. Absolutely fantastic!

If you are a meat eater and have an open mind that's willing to learn then give this a listen. For the rest of us making the transformation or who already are vegan, this book will take you far ahead with great information and advise. If I wasn't already vegan, I would have become vegan in the first 5 minutes of listening to this book.

Read It!!!

As I started to read this book I became very food conscious of what I was putting in my mouth and how it would effect my body. I really observed that chicken nugget/burger. As I'm writing this review. I have a container of veggies (carrots, celery, cucumbers, cauliflower & broccoli w/dip. Watermelon , grapes and an apple along with 1liter of water. I am proud of myself. You will be too! Awesome insight. Great information And history behind it.

Must Read for Anyone Living on this Planet

Hands down the best book I've heard in a long time. I usually take awhile to finish a book, but not this one. I found it impossible to pull away from it. The content was so carefully constructed in a perfect manner that really showcases what veganism represents and why it is imperative that we all consider the impact of our lives.

Perfect Intro to Veganism

I loved this book! Clear and straight to the point. I really enjoyed the links he allowed us to have that would help me on my vegan journey. Like Happy Cow and Sister Vegan. Now I have to purchase Uncle Russell's other books lol.
