Very well written. A whole-food, plant-based eating is not a fad diet. It has been scientifically proven to be the healthiest diet for humans. Unfortunately we have been misled our whole lives about nutrition.

Anyone (especially African Americans) desiring optimum health should read this book. It is full of excellent advice on the benefits of eating Whole Food Plant-based. Q

I have utterly enjoyed this book!! So much so, that my journey will start sooner than I anticipated. It was very well done and user friendly! Changing to move forward starts right away! It encourages me to know how important I am, not just my health alone. But that I am not alone! Thank you for presenting it in such away, that I feel like I deserve this journey for myself!! It’s an awesome book, I will share it every chance I get!

This was eye opening. I’ve dabbled over the years with wanting to try a Vegan lifestyle however like the other Diet’s tried, I have failed. I’m at a place now where my life matters and I’m need to make a change for myself and not anyone or for any other reason thank for me.

Loved this book. The information in this book should be thought starting in elementary school and throughout collage as mandatory classes so we could have a healthier nation.

I've been vegan for a few years. This book is an excellent resource for beginning vegans / whole food plant based diet followers. For those with some experience at whole food plant based eating it's a great refresher on things that might have been forgotten (such as beets being so nutritous. I love them, but haven't thought about beets for some time. That will now change).
