The CrossFit superstar and author of the best-selling The Badass Body Diet is back with a day-by-day guide designed to encourage habit change through fun, dynamic daily tasks challenging your mind, body, and spirit.
Christmas Abbott knows the importance of a badass lifestyle - physically, mentally, and spiritually. The key is balance: using essential daily practices for the mind, body, and soul. The Badass Life is her monthlong program based on building positive daily habits, to help you achieve a higher quality of life and a heightened sense of self-worth.
It takes 30 days to break a bad habit and 30 days to create a good one. Christmas provides a daily challenge for your mental, physical, and spiritual awareness to help you develop positive thinking and successful behavior and boost your brainpower. Each day is centered around a specific "action theme", such as "Eliminate Excuses", "Lean on Mentors", and "Feel Sexy, Be Sexy". Christmas shows you how to create a better blueprint for your daily habits to maximize their beneficial effects and includes suggestions for healthy eating, fun puzzles, life questions, and brain teasers to get you thinking in new directions. Christmas also emphasizes the need for daily spiritual wellness and gives you ideas for practicing intended acts of connection, such as helping a complete stranger unconditionally, setting specific intentions, and recording what you appreciate about yourself.
No matter your level of health well-being, The Badass Life will help you channel the power of the mind-body-spirit connection to become your best self in every way.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Get ready to be a badass, for ages 10 to infinity.
Lots of tips and tricks to keep me motivated. Christmas can you please narrate your next book!
I wish I could get a refund and buy the hard copy. The content is good and has solid steps and could be easy program to follow. If I could stand listening to the fake laughs and over pronunciation.
There are not many new concepts in this book, but they are organized well.

I found the narration rather robotic and monotone so only having to listen to it for about 10 minutes a day was a relief. Some great stuff in there and working the written exercises every day really establishes the messages and gives the listener a chance to take ownership of the changes and challenges. There was quite a bit that I’d heard or read before so, I’ve held back on 5 stars.
So much info in this book & so well put together.
I was on a similar downward spiral as Christmas and since I turned 30 have been on a journey of self improvement. So I knew a lot of the techniques and philosophies already and man do they work. Great to have a reminder though and another perspective and also lots of new stuff I hadn’t come across.
It really helps me to listen to books by inspirational people and Christmas is truly motivational. I will finally get around to making a vision board and Christmas is going on it.
So many people tell me I take things too far - eg healthy eating, reading about parenting but I have never agreed and now learnt from this that healthy obsessions are kick ass and what make success! (As long as they don’t become unhealthy).
I’m really getting into fitness and loving how strong and powerful I feel, it really does change your life.
I just wish Christmas narrated her own books.
