A New Perspective.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I read other reviews that claim the book is basically a repeat of another book, I have not read that book so it was exactly what I needed. It gives a new perspective on your relationship with food and how to use it to grow your relationship with God. I plan to listen to it again and put these words to action in my own life.

Lysa hit on many issues I think I have going on that are and are not (or I didn’t think was) related to food. I love how she laid out the book, the verses, and what she gave me to think about. Well written.

Love the spiritual truths in this book

There are many books available today about what to eat how to diet etc. but I love that this book challenges search our hearts to do the hard work of dethroning food as an idol and leaving all excuses behind. It’s a refreshing, well written great perspective to get back on track. I love the reminder to invite God into the battle for self-control.
