THIS IS FANTASTIC!!!

What made the experience of listening to Meditation: The Complete Guide to Meditation for Mental Balance, Health, and Vitality the most enjoyable?

I wanted a beginning meditation dvd. I wanted something to give me an introduction, to get me started. To help me focus, to relieve stress, and help cut out much of the chaos that's all over out there. The dvd is divided into 4 parts. Introduction, Mindful Yoga, Body Scan, and Seated Meditation. I've found that yoga isn't for most 64 year old men who have no flexibility, so I pass on the first 3 parts and only use Seated Meditation. When looking for a beginning meditation dvd I visited Youtube and checked out a number of meditation videos. None were a good fit for me until I found a short 5 minute video of this one. I immediately liked her voice, and found it soothing. So many of the other meditation videos had narrators who didn't sound genuine. This lady does, and has a calmness and experience about her that appealed to me. The quality of the dvd is high. So I'm giving this dvd 5 starts regardless of the fact that I only use 1 part of it. I like that part so much that sometimes I put it on while doing exercises with dumbbells. It calms me and reminds me to slow down, use good form, instead of hurrying.

Great Guide to Meditation

Where does Meditation: The Complete Guide to Meditation for Mental Balance, Health, and Vitality rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Meditation needs a secure place. It needs concentration or focus of mindset towards peace and relaxation.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Darren Roebuck because he has a modulated voice. It was enunciated well with correct grammar, proper intonation and emphasis. The information that he presented was easy to understand and full of great details about meditation. I like the character's being optimistic and conscientious.

Which character – as performed by Darren Roebuck – was your favorite?

He utters words spontaneously and accurately. Aside from that when he gave lots of examples in doing meditation.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Meditation can maintain and strengthen your mind, to relax, to heal ,to balance and to gain vitality. Meditation can add years in our lives.

I was well-informed about the benefits of meditation. I deeply understood about the history of meditation. Great things that I bought this book.

Excellent Guide to Meditation

Meditation is done on the secure and peaceful place. I would rank this book as 5 stars among all the audiobooks I've listened to so far.

What did you like best about this story?

I really liked about this story was the precise of presenting information about meditation like the origins of meditation, the benefits of meditation, the different types of meditation, practical tips, and other helpful things.

Which character – as performed by Darren Roebuck – was your favorite?

I really liked the tome of his voice. He is confident and well-informed about the subject matter. He delivered the speeches well with proper intonation, stress, pronunciation and enunciation. I could easily figure out what he wanted to convey to the listeners like me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely yes! I never got tired or bored listening to this audiobook in one sitting. It makes me feel comfortable.

Any additional comments?

This audiobook gave a well-detailed information about meditation with concrete samples and situations that really amazed me and got interested to do it. Likewise it has so many great advises and techniques that will surely help each listener.

This is the first meditation book I have ever read so I don't know how to answer that honestly.

No I have not, this is the first of his books I have ever read.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The part of the book where we simply are. We exist and that's a good thing and everything else is situational and created by ourselves and other people.

This is an amazing booknow for beginners I had no idea there were so many different types of meditation. I thought meditation was basically done one way so that was amazing to learn.

Great for basic overview

Would you listen to Meditation: The Complete Guide to Meditation for Mental Balance, Health, and Vitality again? Why?

I liked the book and would because it covered a lot of material on how to really get started for the why of meditation instead of just how to do it.

This is the first book I've really read in regards to meditation and I think it was a great book to start with.

I think this was an exceptional book as a beginner. I enjoy hearing about backstories and how things developed into what they are instead of just being told the idea of this is what we're going to do now just go do it.

Yes, I will listen over and over again until I will completely learn the perfect way to meditate.

Not yet, but I am starting to like him as an author.

Amazing book! I've learned a lot about meditation from this book and I am excited to meditate now. I know I will be relaxed later with a refreshing mind and body after following those guides. Thanks to the author and there were no regrets in purchasing this book.
