My therapist wife suggested it. Excellent read and listen. I hope that our coming generation embodies the ideals of this book.

Must Read for Men and their Partners

This book should not be taken lightly. It is a force that will creep into the very shadows of your life and bring those painful moments screaming for recognition. But with that experience comes great healing. This book reminded me of the hero’s journey. I will look back with a respectful admiration for the emotional journey it took me on and plan on re-reading many times.

Must read for men.

Author talks about a lot of important topics that go unspoken for many. One of the best books I’ve listened to in some time.

Soul Opening

A truly insightful examination and explanation of the patriarchal damage rooted in childhood trauma. This book has been a true help allowing me to reflect back, and remember land marks of my early childhood trauma. I swore I would never be like my parents and yet subconsciously I was. At 64 years young, I am only now beginning to see the generation Al pain that I have caused my precious wife as children. I am so grateful for this read, and I hope to someday to shake this man’s hand. It’s a truly liberating moment when you can sense and see the proof of change, Thank you Terry , we all share so much in common.

Terry Real is amazing

I truly find it amazing how Dr Real seems to portray so many life experiences as commonplace and simply needing fresh perspective to heal. Thank you
