Terrible Reader! Content Ok
Terrible reader, she drones on and on in a half asleep voice. Content seems ok, the author is a little pushy with the vegetables, a diet full of red meats and fish will provide much more nutrition and invigorate your health!! Other than that the content seemed sound. After listening I am surprised at all the five reviews, it’s not that good of a book, but to each their own.

Bad English detracts from content
This book probably has some useful information but it sounds like it was translated into English by an online translator...or it was written by Yoda.
Have you ever heard Resistance Training referred to as “Opposition Preparation”? That’s one of many distracting and confusing examples.
Even the intonation of the narrator demonstrates that it isn’t making sense to her either!
If you want to read a book written in English look elsewhere!

Embarrassing narration. Not great writing.
I listen to lots of books and podcasts on this and similar topics and have not come across this level of difficulty before. Perhaps I would have got more out of it if the narration hadn’t caused me to give up so quickly. In the first five minutes several words were mispronounced, and “autophagy” appeared repeatedly as both “auto-faggy” and “auto-f’gy”.
I’m so sick of mispronunciations and weird, sometimes meaning-skewing intonation in too many audio books. Does nobody check? Does the author not care??
