Motivational!

Fasting is challenging and requires determination. This book will give you the knowledge and the motivation to follow through. I love the section on the different fasting methods and how to find one that suits your lifestyle. I also like the easy and practical tips on how to get started. The Complete Fasting Guide

I have attempted fasting many times, and I’ve given up after a few weeks typically. I began to start again, and this book is really been key to helping me understand the importance of fasting not just for my physical health, but I love how the author helps you understand how it benefits your mind and your spirit as well.

Excellent information!

Truly enjoyed this book! The author does an excellent job in mentioning the health benefits of fasting. I do intermittent fasting every day and I feel great doing so. With this book I learned how to adjust my fasting method. This is a well researched book I highly recommend.

A COMPACT, CONCISE INTRO TO FASTING!

I’ve fasted regularly my entire life, and everything you discover in “Why You Should Fast” is absolutely true!
While fasting and intermittent fasting are trending subjects nowadays, fasting is a practice millennia-old and proven by time to do what it says: cleanse and heal the body, sharpen the mind, and quicken our spiritual senses.
I find it interesting that I actually look forward to my weekly 36-40 hour fast and rarely, if ever, experience any real hunger or discomfort. My digestive system loves getting a rest!
Fasting, when properly done, yields a plethora of benefits, all of which are outlined in this well-researched and well-written book. The science of fasting is well-presented, as well as the beneficial effects you can expect to enjoy as a result.
If you’re at all curious about fasting, how to do it, why to do it, and when to do it, save yourself a bunch of time and effort and simply get this little jewel of a book, and all your questions will be answered.

Understand why fasting matters

Believe it or not, there was a time when people did not eat three meals a day and snack whenever they felt hungry. This book made me see why these people were on many accounts, healthier than we are. The book helps you understand the science behind fasting - and it's a lot. You get to see why fasting is a huge part of many religious and spiritual traditions. If you don't finish this book determined to make fasting part of your lifestyle, maybe you didn't listen too well.

Great Introduction For Fasting!

Really enjoyed this listen! This wonderfully narrated audiobook goes beyond just weight loss benefits and dives into cognitive and memory improvement benefits as well. It's extremely well researched and shows that our ancestors fasted throughout evolution. It turns out eating 3 heavy meals a day is an extremely new behavior that wreaks havoc on our health! For these reasons and many more, I highly recommend this gem to everyone!

Great Benefits to Fasting!

I've dabbled with fasting but I didn't know all the benefits until this book. It has given me more proof that fasting, whichever type of fasting you choose, is good for so many health issues. This book is a great introduction to fasting and why you might want to try it before rushing out to get that prescription filled. Our body has the power to reset and heal if you let it do it's job. This book is where you need to start your fasting practice. Highly recommended.
