I've been doing a lot of research on my own but I think this is pretty helpful for people that are new and/or aren't stubborn in their ways of dirty fasting. I found the book enjoyable and easy to follow. The lady didn't sound boring.

I have tried intermittent fasting on my own with little success and no changes. I now know why! If you have ever wanted to try IF for your health this is a wonderful resource. Gin Stephens does a great job explaining the science and the practicality of IF. I am a newbie but I now feel armed with the insight and information delivered in a way I can remember and understand. Fasting has finally become my lifestyle. I own several of Gin Stephen’s book but could not find the time to read them or I just plain couldn’t stay awake. The 28 day fast start has been the most important part of getting started. I’ve been stepping in and out of IF since maybe 2018, and the fast start was the key for me to stick with IF. It has become easy/comfortable in a way it hadn’t before. I don’t have a long history of dieting, but Keto worked only once, carnivore made me much healthier but I couldn’t loose weight, I’d given up all grains and starch because they impacted me so negatively (I am celiac) and had restricted them since 1997, and I love food too much to calorie restrict—additionally I’m smart enough to recognize the difficulty of being precise with the calorie content of foods. I’m 5’5” and very small boned. I need to loose about 40 pounds total. I’ve lost about 10 lbs and my weight before was around 106 lb. I’m now older and would like to loose 30-40lbs total and not have a weight that low. Maybe 10-15 pounds more. I got around to listening to this book and thankful for Gin and those who have been down this road before me. Kiss your inflammation and weight good bye and be able to enjoy all foods again! Except gluten foods in my case.
