very general

Nothing new. If you are concerned about your health, you probably already know everything in this very short book. I have magazines that offer more information.

Very detailed audible!

Amazing book. All the details needed to really advocate for yourself. I have not been officially diagnosed but have had cognitive decline over the last few years. I believe I am experiencing what he describes as type 3. I have started supplements suggested and have really noticed a difference in my mental clarity. I am actively pursuing a local physician that is knowledgeable of the recode protecol. Very hopeful!

Very helpful!

I have a family history of dementia and at age 63 I have been diagnosed with early-stage cognitive decline. For the first time, I have real hope of not going down the same path as my mother.

Great book with so much information!

Been slowly implementing the changes recommended! Great book with so much information that most likely your traditional doctor will most likely not go over with you. I have learned that you must become your own doctor at times and take responsibility for your own health if you want to thrive. People want than just drugs, they want healing. We are aware now that there are many alternatives and thorough studies to help heal any disease, including Alzheimer's. Never believe it can't be cured. This book offers so much hope but especially for those of us who have the genetic lot. We have a shot at surviving and even thriving in our old age but we must begin right now! The book is about long term preparation although it offers a lot of hope for those already diagnosed. We will win! Great listen and share with everyone in your family as this is the most difficult disease of our day! Everyone has someone who is affected: family, friends, co-workers, etc. Knowledge is power!

Highly recommend!

I'm a medical professional and this plan incorporates the most up to date knowledge about treating and preventing dementia. This doctor is no flake. Not a scam to get you to buy "his products" just a great analysis of what can actually help. In my opinion you will need to find a functional medicine doctor to get the most benefit from this info but plenty of pointers here to make a difference. If you have very little knowledge of medicine you may want to buy his shorter book which mainly presents the plans to stop Alzheimer's Disease. This also includes the research he bases the treatment on. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

Enormous hope for previously intractable disease provided one can find both a physician willing to order that many tests as well as enough money to pay for the tests and the supplements, etc. I loved being involved to that degree and will continue to strive for lab test excellence.

Awesome treatment!

John Roberts is a researcher into the root causes of Alzheimer’s, who has used this new knowledge to develop a multifaceted approach to treatment. His treatments are a work in progress but are already doing quite well for a disease that most doctors consider hopeless. Yet his method requires a lot of testing to identify which of 36 causes are significant for each individual and to then tailor a program of diet and supplements. Some people have a gene weakness (ApoE), some people have been exposed to toxics like mercury, but most, if they are not too old, only need a better diet and life style.

Wonderful audiobook

My mother just died of Alzheimer's. Not only did the disease make her suffer a long, undignified "life" until her eventual death, but the cost of the nursing care wiped out all my inheritance that my parents had wanted to give me. I am so angry at doctors and the U.S. medical services for keeping this information from us. But now I will tell everyone I can about this book, and hopefully help to save a few lives.

Promising ideas!

This is not a book about ideology or good or even promising ideas; it is the celebration of hundreds of HEALED Alzheimer's patients. Please get this audiobook in your hands and all you love ASAP. Brilliant and so very exciting that our medical establishments cannot any longer ignore. AND even deeper truth is that creation of a metabolic competence -- metabolic flexibility -- will heal not only Alzheimer's and other degenerative neurological issues, but just about everything we write prescriptions for in 2019. Powerful work, promising times. Deep gratitude.

Improves cognitive function

John Roberts explains complicated brain functions in a clear manner for everyday listeners. If his protocol holds up, it is very exciting!! I will modifying my lifestyle to try and maintain and improve cognitive function.

Precise explanation

This is a sensational book. explained in a precise, scientifically valid, but easy to follow style. Also psychologically smart. It is an excellent preview of 21st century medicine. Highly recommended. Would be good to know when the author's reCODE method is generally available to everybody.

No real scientific data

Not worth money. The Obesity Code was packed with science and covered the same thing. 8times more listening time. Could have written this myself

Provides helpful overview

Alzheimer's disease is very complicated and John Roberts does a great job of providing an overview, explaining and outlining steps one can take to help stack the cards in your favor. While it may not be economically feasible to do all of the tests and take all of the steps he suggests, there is much you can do if you understand the major contributors to developing this disease.

Got best explanation

This was the best explanation of Alzheimer's disease I have found. Dementia has become a great life waster and like other chronic disease is too complex for a simple solution. This author's plan is the best so far.

Lots of the suggested supplements

I am so thankful this book was published. My husband has terrific memory loss--also was beginning to withdraw. I bought this book when it became available and it is my go to book. Put him on a lot of the suggested supplements--walk with him every day--there is no doubt he is much brighter and animated. Don't know if the memory will start coming back but even at this level it is doable for both of us and I have lost that hopeless feeling!

Got most important information

This was not the easiest book to listen in terms of wading through a lot of technical information. But I didn't have to listen all the technical information in order to get the most important information - what is Alzheimers, what are the various forms of the disease, what doesn't work, and what does work. But I wanted to know all the details and all the "why's" so I did slog through the technical stuff. The most important thing this book does is give hope. I listen this because my sister was diagnosed with Alzheimers and thankfully she's got a great doctor who put her on the protocol (or what John Roberts calls ReCODE) and told her and the family to listen this book. It's early in her treatment but we're seeing improvements already. The information in this book will most likely save her life

Wonderful

Good nutritional information here, and he isn't trying to sell some special product. He speaks of good nutrition and supplements of vitamins, minerals and hormone replacement therapy customized to fit a persons own needs found through blood testing. If it works, it will be a wonderful thing for all those affected with cognitive decline.

Awesome audible!

Awesome audible! It's time we start to practice prevention instead of the woefully inadequate medicines that are available today. Physicians in particular should pay attention to the information now available-diet and lifestyle are the most important factors in the development of Alzheimer's.

Very effective treatment

This book presents clear and compelling evidence on a new and effective treatment to stop and reverse the cognitive decline associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Unfortunately, this new approach will be perceived as “alternative” and will be met with a lot of skepticism. For that reason, it will take a long time to be accepted by the medical community in general. Although I consider myself a skeptic by nature, reading this book left me convinced on the veracity of it’s claims. I feel lucky to be able to understand this and be able to act in order to prevent this harrowing disease.

Grateful for this

Truly a game changer, especially when it's a matter of life and brain death! Thanks to this book, I am getting my father in touch with a center who practices this protocol! Feeling nothing but grateful for this chance to help my dad.
