Very detailed audible!
Amazing book. All the details needed to really advocate for yourself. I have not been officially diagnosed but have had cognitive decline over the last few years. I believe I am experiencing what he describes as type 3. I have started supplements suggested and have really noticed a difference in my mental clarity. I am actively pursuing a local physician that is knowledgeable of the recode protecol. Very hopeful!

Got great help!
From what I learned by the end of this book, my mom doesn't have Alzheimer's. She has been misdiagnosed. She had micro strokes several years ago and started showing signs of memory loss then and is now almost unable to communicate. I did try some of the suggestions from the book, cleaning up her diet and adding herbs and melatonin. The herbs are too bitter, and she won't take them no matter how I sweeten/salt them, but the melatonin has helped with sleep somewhat. Nothing is helping with aggression once her constant bladder infections reappear. It seems that cases like hers are still uncharted territory. We are so financially strapped now, and the cost of testing to find out more about her condition is out of reach. This has been such a difficult journey. But this book did help rule out Alheimer's. That was beneficial.

Highly recommend!
I'm a medical professional and this plan incorporates the most up to date knowledge about treating and preventing dementia. This doctor is no flake. Not a scam to get you to buy "his products" just a great analysis of what can actually help. In my opinion you will need to find a functional medicine doctor to get the most benefit from this info but plenty of pointers here to make a difference. If you have very little knowledge of medicine you may want to buy his shorter book which mainly presents the plans to stop Alzheimer's Disease. This also includes the research he bases the treatment on. Highly recommend!

This is not a book about ideology or good or even promising ideas; it is the celebration of hundreds of HEALED Alzheimer's patients. Please get this audiobook in your hands and all you love ASAP. Brilliant and so very exciting that our medical establishments cannot any longer ignore. AND even deeper truth is that creation of a metabolic competence -- metabolic flexibility -- will heal not only Alzheimer's and other degenerative neurological issues, but just about everything we write prescriptions for in 2019. Well-explained
Good science and well-explained. This book may not be the end of Alzheimer's for everyone, but I am convinced that it can make a huge difference in the lives of many people. The author has over 20 years of research experience and he has applied his knowlegde to breaking down Alzheimer's according to the many small components that can lead to disease. The basic approach is to fix the underlying metabolic functions that have gone awry - mitochondiral inefficiency, insulin resistance, inflammation and nutritional deficiency.

Extremely helpful!
I feel so grateful to John Roberts for his persistence in finding a protocol that successfully treats and reverses Alzheimer's Disease. Dementia has griped my parents for over a decade! They have both been in long term care more than 6 years! Their last years have been devastating! It's too late for them, but I have hope that I can avoid this tragic disease. I have followed the protocol for the past 90 days and already my thinking is much clearer. I don't lose things as often and I don't search for words like I have for the past few years. I remember people's names better than ever before.

A must-listen!
For those with a family history of Alzheimers or who carry the APOe4 gene, this is a must-listen. I have been doing this program for a months now and can attest to the fact that it WORKS! It's not easy at first, but over time the new habits in terms of diet, sleep, exercise, reducing stress, taking supplements etc. become second nature. If you take this seriously and follow your protocol, you should notice improvements within months. The chapters detailing the science involved in developing this program are a bit dense, but feel free to skim. The rest is much easier and imminently interesting and helpful. This book is a lifesaver.

Awesome treatment!
John Roberts is a researcher into the root causes of Alzheimer’s, who has used this new knowledge to develop a multifaceted approach to treatment. His treatments are a work in progress but are already doing quite well for a disease that most doctors consider hopeless. Yet his method requires a lot of testing to identify which of 36 causes are significant for each individual and to then tailor a program of diet and supplements. Some people have a gene weakness (ApoE), some people have been exposed to toxics like mercury, but most, if they are not too old, only need a better diet and life style.

Provides excellent information
The book provides excellent and easy to understand info and a list of supplements that I had not come across elsewhere in my years of using dietary and environmental interventions to stave off dementia. I added some of his recommendations to my protocol and think they are helping. I agree with the author that doing a 'cognoscopy' (frequent and specific testing to track cognitive health) is possibly more important as standard screening than colonoscopies.
