Publisher's Summary

This audiobook will guide you through seven habits which are consistent across all game players, manipulators, narcissists, sociopaths, and liars. Simply by becoming aware of these habits, you'll find yourself being overlooked rather than targeted as another mark by these pernicious, intra-species predators.

Very good and informative!

I really enjoyed listening to the audible version of this book. I appreciate that it was short and concise. The book gets right to the point and told me the most important things to know when dealing with these awful people known as manipulators.

I learned a lot and thanks for writing the book.

Narrator was a speed reader, SLOW DOWN BUDDY

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The narrator was far too quick, it was very distracting. He was annoying

Would you be willing to try another book from Jon Bet? Why or why not?

If Jack Nolan wasn't reading

Would you be willing to try another one of Jack Nolan’s performances?

NO WAY, he spoilt the book, and his infliction on T's K's drove me nuts

Do you think 7 Habits of Highly Manipulative People needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Seriously I couldn't concentrate on the story! Very frustrating

Enjoyable, helpful for clarifying my husband

I married & lived with a man (for 12yrs) who fulfils all these point, I am now studying the subject with the intention of not getting caught again, it is painful to here a lot of his “methods” outlined. I recommend anyone who has been or is living/friends/related to someone who fulfils these different criteria’s to study and read all you can, watch your finances & get the hell out of there...

Not a fan of the narrator, but it's worth it anyways

I'm really not a fan of the narrator of this. Way too fake sounding with some sort of weird "emotion" and over annunciation ...it's just really weird.

That aside, this is a fantastic resource for understanding how manipulators work and even just being able to identify whether or not someone you are dealing with might be manipulating you. Very illuminating for me.

Too Short!

What disappointed you about 7 Habits of Highly Manipulative People?

Way too short, mainly just paragraph headings with brief descriptions. Don't waste your money.

What do you think your next listen will be?

A book that at least goes for an hour or more.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jack Nolan’s performances?

It would have to be longer and have more content before I would even consider wasting money and time on another of Nolan's performances.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from 7 Habits of Highly Manipulative People?

If I cut anything there would be nothing left.

Any additional comments?

My responsibility for not noticing how short this book was, usually I look at the length and for some reason I omitted to do that with this particular book.

Self awareness is the key to not becoming a mark

The book teaching you what to look for in yourself so you won't be taken advantage of in my view. It was an excellent read for me

John Bet is a Genius! I am now in control!

Would you consider the audio edition of 7 Habits of Highly Manipulative People to be better than the print version?

idk

What was one of the most memorable moments of 7 Habits of Highly Manipulative People?

Understanding how these people act so that I can now know who they are when they start to interact with me.

Any additional comments?

This man, John Bet, is pure genius. I am smart and 63, but he gave me a gift no neuropsychiatrist, author of codependent books, or any programs that I have paid big money for could. The ability to sidestep manipulative people.
