Good information here

The information in this book is good, informative info for anyone interested in improving their health. Often the information repeats itself and towards the end, I kept asking myself if I had accidently hit the back button, but in the same breath, I'll also say that Mark's simple steps are burned into my mind and his reasoning for why his guidelines work are clear enough for me to figure out what I should be doing to increase my metabolism. Even if you are already familiar with the world of natural foods and clean living, you will find information in this book that will further your efforts towards healthy living.

No Real News

Eat right and exercise. Although the author mentions that there is more to the book; that's the essence. The devil is in the details, however. It is the definition of "eating right" with which we struggle. Downloading the book doesn't get you the "lists" that are necessary to actual follow the good doctor's dietary prescription. You might be better off getting this one at the library or buying it at a discount bookstore so you'll have the details you'll need.

Need To Know Book on Nutrition!

This book is a Must Have in any library. I have a huge library at home. I worked in some of the finest restaurants in my area. If I had to keep only one book on nutrition, this would be it. Coming from 414 lbs, I know. I've tried everything. Then my sister gave me what I thought was just another book that may contain some help. Ultra-Metabolism is dynamite! It will change how you look at food. Don't waste money on gimmicks. This is it.

This book is the knowledge.. And will attest: the human body craves real nutrition, real water, and needs to move.

Another book I suggest, especially if you are a fan of his, is Sylvester Stallone's 'Sly Moves'; which I feel has more than just the motivation from his life experience, but a real direction. Mr. Stallone understands from experience, there is no easy way to loose weight and keep it off. Hear how he had to train for his movies..and what he learned about dieting and nutrition. Why this one? Look at his results. They speak for themselves.

Now I have a plan on How to move it. Walking and modest Weight training with proper nutrition.

If you are serious, start caring what you buy to eat. Then cut portions. Then stay hydrated and exercise starting slowly. Make exercise fun, like easy Tai Chi, biking, swimming.. and if done modestly at first it will be rewarding.

But Check with your doctor first. Get a good weigh in. Then free your self from dieting and eat healthy! Your body...You deserve it! You can do it!

Nothing new or exciting!

I think you can not get much from this book. Seems like old science. I think information not very useful as the author seems not to have any knowledge of new science and the importance of lectins in the plant-based diet. The information about intermittent fasting or so-called sumo dieting also very inaccurate and miss leading!

Too much is missing

Unfortunately the audio book keeps refering to CD 4. However as an audible listener I don't have CD 4. I am sure the information in this is good and I have no doubt that it works. This purchase just seemed a little incomplete without the references provided in the alusive disk 4.

Not designed for Audible

This audio book was designed for CDs and references text files on disc 4 and others on a website that doesn't seem to exist.
My assumption is that the material is no longer supported because the author has newer material.

Very bad advise

Most of the advise is unscientific and wrong. You will gain weight if followed. Not recomended
