Fair enough, but she assumes that all athletes are compulsive over-trainers and a Olympic potential athletes, not weekend warriors.

As a plant based athlete I have never been able to find information specifically catered to athletes; as great as the doctors promoting this lifestyle are, most of them talk about the needs of normal people who don't need to reach optimal performance. This book has provided helped me learn more about something that wasn't available else where - how a plant based diet can increase athletic performance.
