Good storyline, hero's history is a little dark

The performance by Wayne and Lisa was very good. You could hear the emotion in each character, and there was never a point where I didn't know which character was speaking. There was a little too much of the main character's history in this book, not enough room for current character growth. It was all well done though.

A excellent book

There are not many books that take as much care with the real world story and blending it with the game world. This author has done a fantastic job catalyzing a US wounded veteran into the story. It is amazing work.

Not You're Typical Lit Rpg

Unwieldy at times, with some issues of pacing, but completely beautiful at others. "Not you're typical" lit rpg, but well worth your time and credit.

trigger warnings for days

great start to a series even if the end was a little abrupt. a very dark story. a very good look into the face of depression that is also a great lead up to an exciting new universe.

This was an excellent book.

I have read many litRPG books and unfortunately I have only found a few that I would give five stars to, luckily this is one of them. The only issues I’ve had with this story was it was very slow to start and a great deal of time was spent in flashbacks. But none of this diminished the overall story quality and execution of the plot line.

Fantastic start

This is probably one of the most interesting introductions to a world I have read. The MC has a really interesting backstory that I was drawn into. There are some flashbacks into the MCs past that really are intriguing and don't take away from the story either.

The narrating is amazing. I havent heard anything from this narrator before but found him incredibly enjoyable to listen to.

Highly recommend this.

Good story too little rpg

The book uses alot of details and over uses some words on just small things that slows the book down.

I can feel that the story is good and i like the character. The litrpg part comes later in the book.

The main reason I like this book is it's not like all the other 1 week written litrpg books.
