Outstanding

This is an amazing book highly recommended. Has lot of really good action. The world building and main character are great.

Great story - Narration maybe a touch too dramatic

A great rage-filled berserker adventure. Character might be a bit OP in that he's practically a deus ex machina incarnate.

I draw a bit of an issue with narration though. I understand the content requires some oomphiness given the inherent emotionality of the MC, but the narrator erred on the side of melodrama, ending up somewhere between angsty goth teen and a soliloquizing John Malkovich. It took me out of the story for the first 4-5 chapters, but eventually I think the narrator toned it down a bit or I just got desensitized. Not trying to be ass here, the narrator obviously has talent, but I'm hoping he tones it down a notch or two for any sequels.

Exciting read, lots of action

Lots of action, it gets right into the story. Characters are interesting. Well worth the read.

Stop reading and just get it already. Long book, great fighting, sticking it to the man, and RAGE !!!

good start to a new series, worth the credit

enjoyed a different take on cultivation, not a new type of hero, more anti-hero with a purpose. Narrator definitely adds flavor to the story with the accents and ability to travel the story together. The only critique if I have one is a couple if the final fights went a little too long, the suspense was already built so felt drawn out somewhat, however very satisfying conclusion to the fights. good setup to the second book and built curiosity for the next big bad and cast of characters. Has a slight DBZ aftertaste for those needing a comparison.

Exceptional execution between writing an performance.

I have close to a thousand titles an this one called me back for re-listen number 3.

Phenomenal Frenzy

the author created a masterpiece and I can't wait to read the second installment. the narration was perfect it set the tone in so many ways and really flushed out the story.
