Marked for Death

Valor thought he would have a chance to start over back on Earth. A chance to savor all the advantages that leveling up in a world full of futuristic technology and ancient magic has given him.

But fate has other plans.

A tactical strike is initiated, a neighborhood obliterated. Val fears his enemies have discovered his terrible secret, and have marked him for death on both worlds.

Even after escaping back to the realm of Endless, hidden foes attack without mercy. The death of Overlord Tytus has sent shock waves through all of Jordia as countless Highlords make their bid for the throne.

Now Val finds himself facing off against treacherous nobles, cold-blooded assassins, and mad tyrants bent on conquest.

If Val and his friends are to have any hope of surviving, he must dare the unthinkable.

He must declare himself a contender, face off against an entire world's worth of opponents, and claim the throne for himself!

Join Val once more as he discovers hidden classes, embraces forbidden arts, and takes the first steps along a path of power that will change the face of Jordia (and Earth) forever!

Excellent performances.

Wayne and Lisa are quickly becoming 2 of my favorite narrators. They truly make it feel like a full cast performance.

Truthfully, I selected the book originally based solely on the Narration style and ended up enjoying the story more than I can express. 4 books in and can’t wait for the rest.

Good But...

OK I'm gonna break this down pretty quick hunter valor is NOT a hardened killer this very much breaks a key element of the story, that the author tries to put as a bass factor for Valor. Secondlie they talk far too much in and around combat about shit that doesn't matter Which really hurts How immersive the story is.

Def in my top 3 LitRPG favorite series

I do not give out 5 star ratings often but I felt this book and series overall deserves it. The genre is LitRPG but the author has masterfully combined other genres of fantasy, sci-fi, mystery and thriller to develop a story that you did not see coming when starting this series. Val Hunter the protagonist started the series as a crippled war vet and is now blazing his way across the planet Jordia and crushing all mercenaries, assassins, mages, inquisitors and highlords that get in his way. Val and his friends have discovered that the game Endless and the planet Jordia are just as real as earth but in an alternate universe. With the bad guys having taken over earth from their foothold on Jordia it is up to Val and his companions to conquer this alien world and smash all in their way as they fight not only to get earth back but to rule over earth and their new home Jordia!

for the author please read

i love these books but mana and pphyonics have number values per person ... so how can a highlord cast and cast without draining there strength ... while all others get weeker and weeker .... just make sure shit makes sense

Great Store Line

I have enjoyed the series and cannot wait to hear the last two books in the series. I downloaded this on a whim and I do not regret it. This has been a wild ride. Note to Author: "Get the last two books for Audible ASAP".
