better to by the book

too many items and exercises really doesn't lend this to be an audio book. better to buy the book so you can use the references and carry out the "to dos"

Excellent but

many of the exercises are difficult to visualize in an audiobook, and there is supplemental reference material mentioned but understandably not read. You lose a little value on Audio, which is just to say if you are really finding the material heloful, buy the paper book too.

I wish there was a preface paragraph that would give Audio consumers online access to the additional materials.

Ended up buying the ebook anyway

There a more than a few exercises where it is highly beneficial you have the brook to refer to

Audible includes some of the charts but not all the keywords you need for the charts in pdfs. However this isn't mention during the audio doesn't tell you which one to refer to.

I ended up buying the a physical copy of the book ( newer edition) because I got tired of writing down websites incorrectly or names (most of which are not spelled out)

Great content though!

Not like the others

Would you try another book from Richard N. Bolles and/or Patrick Lawlor?

I really loved this book in 2012 and I really thought it would be great as I was trying a new career move. But honestly this didn't help at all. I also wasn't crazy about the narrator as I often fell asleep. I think you need this in a book form in order to get the full benefit of it. I had to keep rewinding to write points down. I would not recommend this as a book for

How did the narrator detract from the book?

put me to sleep

Do you think What Color is Your Parachute? 2016 needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Not sure I can say yay or ney

Any additional comments?

Should be required reading for all high school students; and all new grads from college should read this book

I have personally purchased over 50 copies of this book as a gift for others. I bought 6 copies this year alone👍, as I have encountered a good number of friends and family who just needed some tools or in a big transition in life
Some just hated their job, but loved their work
I was re reading this time to see how social media was best used for professionals. The information was invaluable and I have immediately started to work on my online professional presence.
Everyone should read this book regardless of work/profession. And re read every so often to reevaluate how/who they are professionally and use this tool to help keep them on the best track for their search for the job that best fits their passions in life!

His usual excellence.

I know he's a humble fellow, but the man and the book should be regarded as a "national treasure".
