Erik Hanberg has spent nearly 20 years working with non-profits. In addition to serving as the director of two nonprofits, he has worked for nonprofits in marketing and fundraising, and served on boards and committees for more than a dozen organizations, often in leadership roles, and several times during capital campaigns. He is the author of three books for nonprofits, focusing on fundraising, social media, and board governance. Erik has been hired to consult with the boards and staff of international and national nonprofits of all sizes. He has served for 10 years as an elected official on the Metro Parks Board of Tacoma, a junior municipality with an annual operating budget of $50+ million.
