Principle based but very approachable

The running part of this book was not as extensive as the meditation part but that was okay for me. The author avoided cookie cutter approach and went into the principles of what meditation is and how it combines with running and really any active sport. When we are running we are just tiring the mind out so we can control it but that does not give us true control. I would recommend this book to runners that are more about understanding their mind rather than those looking for a recipe type approach

I Actually Ran While Listening To The Book

Sakyong's story is quite amazing, and Neil's narration work really well, especially for running. It felt like he was running along beside me describing his lifelong practice of running.

I highly recommend this book, especially if you love running and all things running.

Inspiring

I always run with my headset and listen to an audiobook to take my mind off the fact that I'm running. Now, I can see how my running can be SO much more meaningful. Thank you!!

Divulges the secret(s) to happiness! The narrator's style is unique, but worth getting used to!
