Jon Kabat-Zinn is superb.

If you could sum up Full Catastrophe Living in three words, what would they be?

Jon Kabat-Zinn explains how to begin to practice mindfulness and tells reasons why this practice is beneficial.

Have you listened to any of Jon Kabat-Zinn’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Currently I am listening to Jon's Mindfulness Pain Reduction. This is my favorite since I need knee replacements and pain is constant. I have been able to reduce my pain medication.

At the right time

the beginning of a profound change in my mind and life.... thankful to have found this book... it addresses the very issues that I have been battling but with a simple solution that I never would have imagined .

Very useful

I was recommended this book by my therapist and it has been an eye opener, I’ve already started some exercises every morning it’s too early to see a result but I’m excited to see what’ll offer me in the future.

Wonderful

The most comprehensive and accessible practical guide to mindful living I have ever read. Extremely intelligent, warm-hearted, and deeply human view, acknowledging the beauty of our imperfections and opening doorways to change. Loved every page of it and now using a lot of practical exercises offered in the book on a daily basis.

Inspiring book on living mindfully

Kabat-Zinn states at the end of the book that meditation is just as important as eating to your overall wellness. Practical practices for living mindfully. Very much enjoyed this book. Thx JKZ.

Brilliant

This audio book is in no-nonsense, clear form. Scientific studies related to things like longevity are cited, yet it is not reductionist. Brilliant contribution to humanity.

No guided meditations

I love this book, however I wish the audiobook could also come with the guided meditations that the author recommends on the CD that comes with the paper edition.
