Story
Leading health blogger Jimmy Moore and researcher and internist Dr. Eric C. Westman join forces again to explain the powerful therapeutic effects of a ketogenic diet—one that combines a customized carbohydrate restriction, moderation of protein intake, and real food-based fats—which is emerging in the scientific literature as a means for improving a wide range of diseases, from Type 2 diabetes to Alzheimer's and more. Simply eating a low-carb diet alone isn't enough, and Moore and Westman tell you why. Have you looked at a low-carb diet simply as a means to lose weight? What if you learned that combining a low-carb nutritional approach with a high fat intake produces a powerful therapeutic effect on a wide variety of health conditions that most people think requires medication to control? That’s what Keto Clarity is all about. Jimmy Moore, a leading low-carb diet blogger and podcaster, has reunited with his Cholesterol Clarity co-author Dr. Eric C. Westman, a practicing internist and low-carb diet researcher, to bring you the crystal-clear information you need to understand what a ketogenic diet is and why it may be the missing element in your pursuit of optimal health. This book includes exclusive interviews from twenty of the world's foremost authorities from various fields bringing their depth of expertise and experience using this nutritional approach. Moore and Westman explain why ketosis is normal and how this nutritional approach is being used therapeutically by many medical professionals. You will find a step-by-step guide to help you produce more ketones and track your progress, real life success stories, and more. The solid evidence for nutritional ketosis in dealing with many of the chronic health problems of our day is presented, including but not limited to: epilepsy, Type 2 diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome.

Story
Since the introduction of dietary guidelines calling for reduced fat intake in the 1970s, a strange phenomenon has occurred: Americans have steadily, inexorably become heavier, less healthy, and more prone to diabetes than ever before. After putting more than two thousand of his at-risk patients on a wheat-free regimen and seeing extraordinary results, cardiologist William Davis has come to the disturbing conclusion that it is not fat, not sugar, not our sedentary lifestyle that is causing America’s obesity epidemic—it is wheat.

Publisher's summary
Are you ready to lose weight fast and build muscle quickly so you can have that shredded body you've always dreamed of?
The ketogenic diet is a super beneficial and healthy diet for your body!
When you go on a low carb diet and eat mostly fats and proteins, your body will go into ketosis, which is a fancy word for burning fat, which is what we want here!
No need to absolutely starve yourself, because with the ketogenic diet, you are regulating the energy in your body, which means no more crashes or starving between meals. This will absolutely help you to lose weight and motivate you to keep it off and stay healthy. If you follow this ketogenic diet plan, you will be lean, and you'll build muscle before you know it.
You may be wondering why many people are turning to ketogenic diets these days for their weight loss strategy. It is simply because a large majority of them get positive results even in as little as 24 hours after starting the plan. The clinically proven health benefits of a low carb diet such as a ketogenic diet cannot be overemphasized. It makes you lose weight steadily over the long term, helps you sustain the weight loss, and provides you with benefits such as:
- It curbs your appetite in a good way
- Most fat is lost in difficult regions, such as the abdominal cavity
- It increases your level of HDL (good cholesterol), regularizes your blood sugar and insulin levels, regularizes your blood pressure, deals with metabolic syndrome, and boosts your immunity.
This book includes the most important aspects of what you need to do in order to get healthy and lose weight with the ketogenic diet plan.
Here's a preview of what you will learn when you listen to this book:
- What is a ketogenic diet?
- The importance and benefits of a low carb diet
- How the ketogenic diet works to help you lose weight fast

Stress levels are at an all-time high—so much so that a recently convened panel of medical experts in the US has recommended that all adults under the age of 65 be screened for anxiety. In How to Release Anxiety, Gabby Bernstein offers simple, actionable steps for feeling better, living with more ease, and showing up for those around us. Gabby’s unusual advice: Rather than manage your anxiety, what if you befriended it? Gabby posits that what we befriend, we can ultimately be at ease with. So she invites us to get curious.

The latest groundbreaking tome from Tim Ferriss, the number-one New York Times best-selling author of The 4-Hour Workweek. For the last two years, I've interviewed more than 200 world-class performers for my podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show. The guests range from super celebs (Jamie Foxx, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.) and athletes (icons of powerlifting, gymnastics, surfing, etc.) to legendary Special Operations commanders and black-market biochemists. For most of my guests, it’s the first time they’ve agreed to a two-to-three-hour interview.

good to listen
Just started eating the keto way of eating Jan. 16, 2017. I lost 6 pounds in four days and I've never felt better. I have more energy and can think clearly, and my sinuses are not nearly as bad this early Spring 2017. I'm amazed. This is definitely a way of eating for life because a return to carbs will not only make me gain the weight back, but also feel poorly.

All the ketogenic diet you can handle
Would you consider the audio edition of Ketogenic Diet: Ketogenic Diet Mistakes to Avoid to be better than the print version?
I have not gotten the print version but I would imagine it's much better than the print version because of the narrator. The low carb diet plan is what you really need to start losing weight! Great product and I would buy again.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ketogenic Diet: Ketogenic Diet Mistakes to Avoid?
There rules to avoid in making sure the ketogenic diet is effective and working. If you don't the guidelines laid out in this audiobook then you certainly won't see the results you want.

Ketogenic Diet Mistakes to Avoid
This is a great little book. In the first week, I went from 176 lbs. to 168 lbs. I'm into my early 2nd week now and know I'll be losing more weight. I need to lose about another 40 lbs. and then I'll be at a good body weight for my age and frame.

Must listen to it.....
The author did a good job. I like that not only is the book given detailed instructions on how to prepare dishes, but also a detailed diet plan. Often I read only an approximate diet plan. Ketogenic is an excellent way out if you need to lose weight. In this case, for 21 days I was convinced of this. It is also good that the recipes contain pictures. You do not have to read the unleavened text.
