Old outdated information

I am shocked that Audible keeps this book available for download. The book contains some good information but the bulk of it is outdated advice such as avoiding saturated fat in the diet because it causes cardio vascular disease. It also recommends using seed and canola oil in the diet which are absolutely the worst inflammatory substances. I want to get my money back.

Healthy recipes.

I got it trusting it would give me all the data I have to begin on an eating regimen to lose difficult weight gain.The audio-book conveyed. Simple to peruse and Quick. Admonished is forearmed. Full of useful information

This audio-book is full of information about insulin and how your body uses it. It explains how to lose weight in a healthy way that is easy to understand. My favorite part was when the author compared insulin and the bodies cells to a pizza delivery guy.

Great One!

Impressive! This is a great audio-book to help people overcome insulin resistance, become healthier, and take control over their lives. I like how the audio-book starts by telling you everything you need to know about insulin and how you can actually make an effort to overcome it. There's some awesome recipes in the second half of the audio-book. Really worth recommending!

Informational!

I find this audio-book very informative. It provides excellent insights into Insulin and Insulin resistance cure, its symptoms, diagnosis and insulin's role to diabetic patients. It also give a quick overview on insulin history and highlights the importance proper diet plan which includes a list and a well explained components of foods that made up the diet plan such as beans, beef, nuts, barley, broccoli and more. Also discussed in this audio-book are excellent exercise regimen aimed at burning fats.

This audio-book is a good introduction for anybody looking for information about insulin resistance. The audio-book starts with some history and basic information. After you get a list from adviced products to eat. You also get a good diet plan that is worth trying.

Nice book!

Diabetes is one of the top causes of deaths nowadays. And the problem with it is that it complicates with your kidney which makes it more difficult to survive. I've known some people suffering from such illness and I wish they could still live the life they wanted. They can't even eat the foods they want to eat. I listen this audio-book to find out what recipes I could share so they will still appreciate eating delicious foods while not compromising their health. The audio-book provided me different recipes and I think they are just easy to prepare.

be aware of your unhealthy lifestyle

Diabetes is a very serious condition and more complicated case, that's why everyone wanted to be free of this ailment. Insights given in this audio-book really makes you aware of your unhealthy lifestyle, choices of foods and bad habits. Highly recommended if you have this condition

If you have insulin resistance, as I do, this is the audio-book for you. This is the first diet I've been on in years in which I've actually lost weight. It's not difficult to follow, and I consulted with a nutritionist at my local hospital, who confirmed that the audio-book was based on sound principles. In fact, a lot of what she told me I also found in this audio-book. Highly recommended if you have this condition!

Now more aware of insulin's effects

The audio-book begins by simply explaining what insulin is, something I haven't thought much about before. Next it explains a way for food to process that will help your system manage an insulin level that doesn't go out of control causing fat accumulation. It even lists some great recipes which I am eager to try out, the old recipes I use are no good... I would recommend this audio-book to anyone looking for ways that haven't worked for them regarding weight loss.

A simple program that will work!

I've listen plenty of other audio-books about diabetes and most are pretty good. The thing I liked most about this audio-book is that it gives you all the information you need in just a few pages. Short and sweet and right to the point. I probably went through the whole book in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend this short but informative audio-book to anyone who needs sound information about controlling and reversing diabetes by means of diet and exercise only.

Good!

There is a gloomy forecast in the very beginning of this audio-book. Honestly speaking, I have some concerns about diabetes regarding myself. You know, my grandma had a diabetic disease. Moreover, I have that addiction to pastries. They are anxious signs, aren’t they? I appreciate simple and direct meal plan from this audio-book. Recipes include all needed information about macro- and even micronutrients ratio. As well as cook time and quantity of portions. Breakfast meatballs and avocado chicken soup are my favorites for now.

Extremely helpful!

I am looking for this kind of audio-book ever since and this is a great audio-book to have. Never had this thorough explanation of insulin resistance before. Chapter 2 is a complete guide and explanation. Chapter 3 a set of health evaluation. I am going to show this to my mother and father. They must be aware of this and prevent it. Kudos!

Healthy habits

This was a good listen, I've read plenty of health audio-books and magazines. This audio-book simplify how to get on the right track of losing weight in a healthy way and also goes in to detail about you blood sugar how how the way you eat and your activities are both part of how your body regulates it's blood sugar. I found it very insightful.
