This audiobook is amazing!

This audiobook is amazing! Not only is Tara a gifted writer, but this book is arranged beautifully. Each week has a menu with accompanying shopping lists. The kindle edition has a link to each recipe which makes it very easy to navigate. Oh, and the food on this program is delicious. I am an advanced level chef and although these recipes are simple, they are quick and varied and surprisingly delicious. I thought I would have to compromise flavor and eating enjoyment to stay on this program, but have found that I enjoy every meal I cook from this book.

Very Helpful!!

My husband is diabetic and has been experiencing some kidney issues recently. We were told to reduce the amount of protein in his diet. We began looking for leaner protein recipes and vegetarian recipes. We also needed help with food varieties and meal planning. We have studied this audiobook cover to cover and found something useful in each chapter. Not only are the recipes new and exciting they are also made with some ingredients that are new to us.What makes this audiobook a real asset are the meal plans (up to four weeks), the shopping lists, list of pantry staples and the list (and explanation) of essential tools and equipment. Certainly makes making diet adjustments easier!

It provides a meal plan for a month of eating ...

It provides a meal plan for a month of eating as well as additional meals and snacks to substitute into your diet. It goes over the basics of insulin resistance and things that you can do to improve your health. We did not want to completely change our diets, but this cookbook provided us with multiple meals to substitute into our diets instead of the heavy carb alternatives. One of our favorites has been the zucchini pasta,

Delicious recipes

This is a great cookbook that goes into the reasons as to why you might want to follow the prescribed diet. The information at the beginning of the book is thorough without being too scientific. This part seems to be written mostly towards women, though men would benefit from the information as well.All of the recipes in the book sound delicious! I look forward to trying many of them. Each recipe is written with an introduction and a tip, which are helpful. My only complaint is that there aren’t images for each recipe.
