♥ Story ♥
Eating right today with all of our busy lives can be difficult at best. Finding excuses is easy. The author even encourages the listener to send in their excuse if it is not covered in this title. She manages to cover most of the common excuses we have. The ones most relevant to me, are the ones to do with family.
This is not a how to as much as it is a motivational. There are no recipes, diet plans, or any of that nature. So if that is what you are looking for, I would suggest you look for another title. Some reviewers were disappointed because they didn’t understand what was inside this little gem.
We are often our own worse enemy, and it reassuring to hear that you are not alone!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. The fact that I was gifted this book had no influence over my opinion of it.
I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This is a great reference to help you begin to eat healthy. It can be returned to often as you begin to tailor your eating habits toward a healthier lifestyle. it is not a diet book per se it just helps you improve your overall eating habits.
Another great reference, this one about eating healthily. All of my excuses were covered as well as a few I hadn't used. I found this to be a great, supportive, resource.

I like that this isn't a book about going on a diet in the sense of a weight loss program, but rather it's about the kind of diet you eat long term in the sense of the kinds of food you eat on an ongoing basis. There's no attempt to tell you what to eat, just information about the kinds of excuses we make to ourselves about why we don't eat what we know we should.
Good practical advice and clear easy to understand writing, sounds easy to apply.
The narration is well paced and has a nice upbeat delivery.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Let me tell you this... I have read more books regarding weight loss than i would like to admit. This book had a fresh approach that i truly appreciated. I feel it was written well and was not weighed down with technical lingo. It was relatable and had a great flow to it. It is written in a way to work not only as a book but as a quick reference guide for future use. It had great info and functions well for "getting your mind" in the right place. This was a great quick read.
As the other book What's Your Excuse for Not Getting Fit?, this is a good book about lifestyle changes. The explanations are very easy to understand. It's a reference book to keep.
I purchased the previous book for my partner but thoroughly enjoyed it myself. This is another book in a similar format and works really well with Whats Your Excuse for Not Getting Fit. Common sense reasons given for eating properly and assistance as to how to make eating well a lifestyle. The author stresses that the book is not a quick fix diet book - it gives easy to follow strategies to cope with unhealthy relationships with food. The most common sense advice given was NOT to repeat things that have not worked for you in the past - seems logical but we all think that 'this time it will be different! Non-judgmental this book is fantastic for men and ladies alike! Lovely clear narration and an easy listen. The audiobook references back to previous chapters to assist moving around the book.
