A more sustainable approach to weight loss.

The author highlights a fundamental issue that many other weight loss programs miss: the emotional connection we have with food. Stop eating food for pleasure

Food indulgence and cravings are so common and we don't realize it's a trigger effect based on our emotions. Conquering Emotional Eating covers a variety of methods to control these feelings so we can eat healthy and nourish our body and not for pleasure to escape from your current negative inclinations. I love the charts and templates provided in the lessons. It was informative yet straightforward lessons that can help you control your impulses.

Very Helpful

This book is a great guide for those who struggle with bad eating habits. I have a friend that I think this book would be perfect for them. In order to eat healthy, you need to have the right mindset. This book gives lots of helpful tips to get in that right mindset to eat healthy and not let emotions to control you.

Life Changing

Emotional eating was a maladaptive habit of mine that for my entire life I was unaware of. This book gave me a new, sustainable view of food and how to develop a healthy relationship with it. I now recognize destructive eating habits and have a better plan on overcoming them. For anyone struggling with emotional eating, give this book a try!

A powerful audiobook to get you back on track

The audiobook is well-structured and easy to follow, with clear and concise guidance for identifying and addressing negative thoughts and self-sabotaging behaviors. Very Helpful!

Food has a strong emotional component, and it is important to learn to recognize it especially when our relationship with food is not healthy.
I really enjoyed this book and the way the author helps the reader recognize any self-sabotage mechanisms, triggers, and especially how to develop healthy behaviors and habits.
The narration is clear and enjoyable and that is something I value when it comes to audiobooks.
I recommend this book to those who experience a conflicted relationship with food.

Helpful Book!

This book is a huge comfort to read. I can better understand my problem with emotional eating thanks to the book. I didn't always realize how often my emotions overpowered me. I am able to better comprehend emotional eating, control my thinking, and avoid my triggers thanks to this book. I might better deal with my emotions and discover my true needs—needs more than merely food—by becoming my emotions. Finding guidelines for weight management and good nutrition is helpful to me.
