Best in the series!
This is part of the 'Calhoun Women' series and is by FAR the best one of the lot! The male lead is surprisingly shy while the female lead is bold and loveable - a nice change from hypermasculinity and demure female damsels! The secondary story, the missing jewels from the family ancestor, adds an air of danger and mystery to the drama which was rather enjoyable.

Entertaining
Enjoyed the story and the characters. There is mystery, romance and humor. Lila and Max get in there way at times though.

Riveting
This third book in the series was completely routine, I didn't want to stop. The narrator did a really good job especially compared to the first one with each book she's gotten progressively better. I heartily recommend this book and the entire series.

Great series
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I love the Calhoun women They are strong and a force to be reckoned with. The men who love them have a strong character to protect - but the Calhoun women will have none of that !! Great series to read and the Audio is very well done

The women are my favorites but Sloan comes strutting into town and sweeps Amanda off her well polished feet !!

When Lilah rescues Max And thinks she can just toy with him as all the others WRONG !!

Recommended
I would never have thought to put the professor with Lilah. He is so solid on the ground scholarly information. Lilah on the other hand is intuitive and open to the spirit world. Yet they are just what the othrr needs. As the search for the missing emeralds continues. Danger appears to be around every corner.
