Publisher's summary

Number one New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts delivers a novel of two ambitious reporters going head-to-head in work - and heart-to-heart in love. Liv Carmichael wants to make her name in television journalism, and Washington, D.C., is the perfect place to do it as co-anchor of the local evening news. T.C. Thorpe is the network's senior Washington correspondent - and Liv's biggest competition. If Liv wants a share of his turf, she's going to have to fight for it. And when they fall hard for each other, they'll have to protect their love from their own rivalry - and the hazards of their celebrity.

An Oldie

This wasn't bad and I'm a huge Roberts fan. I thought the story waited too long for explanations. Just an ok listen.

Before you’re up on bribery charges

Gads Nora can write a story. This is one of her earlier works that stands the test of time for a great core romance. Good writing that is entertaining. If you are a great fan of the McGregor series by this author, Myra Dittmeier, character resurfaces in this book. I didn’t catch it when I read this book years ago. But when you listen to these classics you catch all the nuances. That’s what I love about Miss Nora, she has great retention for the characters that she puts in various books. Which is why her JD Robb series has got over 40+ books. If you love a story that’s under 10 hours these core romances do the trick. Narrator is growing on me and I have started my library of her reads. It has taken me an out of circulation book of Sandra Brown’s, French silk for me to enjoy this narrator. This book does not disappoint and is joining one of my favorites to re listen to.

I just love all of Nora Roberts books. The short story's to short but they are short stories right.

No plot , hideous character

Hated it, normally I love Nora’s books. But this is terrible and the female character is embarrassing weak and with no personality, made me angry
