Another great story from Nora Roberts
If you like Nora Roberts you will love this fast passed story. I would recommend this story, the cowboy is delightfully funny and he keeps the girl interest going. I really enjoyed it!

unexpected delight
at first I wasn't sure, but then I couldn't stop listening it was so well written and narrative was excellent. Nice surprises reminded me of a John Wayne movie!!

Wonderfully entertaining!
This was my first listen to Todd Haberkorn. He was great! His narration brought all these characters alive. If you enjoy Nora Roberts, don’t pass up this story. I highly recommend it.

Too predictable
Typical of Nora’s other books you know everything about the story by the of chapter two. In this book it was a little earlier. Unlike her other books the female lead was weak and vulnerable and not enough research was done. Her stories are enjoyable because she spins a good yarn. The author just doesn’t know enough for a good yarn and the descriptions are weak and not believable. Stick to the current century- you just don’t know enough about the past. It was also odd listening to a male. Though I could see the appeal here (if I were a female). Except I just don’t think this reader had it in him. His voices-especially female- were just painfully wrong

Excellent reader!
I enjoyed this story and the reader made it fantastic! Good character development on a tale that’s been told time and time again.. old stubborn western men and women with a passionate love story. Even with that cliche it was fresh and enjoyable.
