This is a great romance with a hint of danger. I look the way the author describes a painting as if I can see myself. I felt the same with the character in The Collector. I have always appreciated paintings but I now can feel some of what the artist felt while painting. Thank you.

Nora Roberts is a prolific romantic author, one of the best in her genre. I listen often and must say the telos are beginning to be predictable. I listen for total escape.

What greater escape is there than a cabin in the mountains of Colorado, a car mishap in the snow drops Laura into Gabes' hide-away. The gruff haunted artist was attracted to the ex-high fashion model.

Familiar,yet satisfies the urge for a love story.

I was a bit disappointed in the short oppositional drama as compared to other Nora Roberts books. I am used to female narration, so I found the male narration hard to follow when switching to a female character.
