Entertaining and Realistic

This book is a good help for those struggling with overeating. As a therapist-intern working with such clients, it left much to be desired... A little slow and not enough depth of coverage.

Research Savvy

I enjoyed the research findings behind each chapter. The book was quite different than I anticipated. Although, I would've enjoyed the author's voice as it is her story. At times the narrator sound robotic.

I am going to listen over and over again. I loved the author's story because I definitely can relate; however, I wish the author performed it.

I loved it, was so insightful and thoughtful,

I was really feeling bad and so shameful of myself before I landed on this book. the really helped me to understand is that what I'm going through secretly....is pretty normal and there are solutions and alternatives.

Success Story

I purchased the book and the e-book back in 2015 when it first came out. It helped me along my fitness journey and I lost a total of 64 pounds. I’ve been able to keep most of it off until today. (I’ve put 15 pounds on during COVID).

I re-visit this book when I need a pick me up.

I highly recommend the both the book and the ebook.
