Even though I had already read “The Code Red Revolution,” I wanted to listen to it being narrated to me by Cristy “Code Red “ Nickel. She is real and relatable. Her passion and enthusiasm for this lifestyle is evident.

Cristy explains the science behind this revolutionary weight loss program. She gives you the rules to follow to lose the weight and to maintain as well. There are also testimonials from real people who have successfully lost their weight following this lifestyle.

I recommend this book to anyone who has struggled or is struggling to lose weight with little success. I’ve been a Code Red Rebel for 10 months, lost over 65 pounds, and have maintained my weight for over 5 months. It’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle, and it really works!

It’s ok- sound advice but better in book

I found this audiobook way to much about people stories than science and eating plans. Especially trying to understand the section on foods to eat and avoid and how much to eat? Barely skimmed it in this audio book and. Ow I have no way of hearing it again unless I go back and listen to the book again. No idea what chapter it was. I think paper version would be better to have the main part of this subject “what you can eat” handy.

Creates dependency needlessly

As a national board certified health and wellness coach, I am on the lookout for resources I can provide my clients. All day, every day I am talking with people who want to create behavior change. We talk about growth and learning and applying that to their advantage. This book is more about fostering dependence. It starts by preaching how different this book is, as a rebel. The truth is, it's the pot calling the kettle black. It is JUST like all of the other for-profit sources out there telling you their plan is different and if you just stick to it and follow HER plan, then you will be successful. No. This book feels more about getting more private clients. You need to follow your plan. Breaking the myth that low fat is healthy?? That was done in the late 1990's. We've been there, done that. So yes, these components are healthy and beneficial for you: Sleep is essential for weight loss, drink water, eat more vegetables, as little processed food and sugar as you can, feel free to eat healthy fat in moderation, use weight training to keep and increase your metabolism, use cardio to get your blood pressure and cholesterol down, prepare food in a healthy way (grill bake, air fry, etc) and above all, use whole foods in portion and moderation. If you want resources for adopting healthy behavior, try Kelly McGonigal's (based off of a lot of research and put in a practical manner without the preaching) or BJ Fogg's work. Then, grab a friend for support and do this thing. You don't need to be beholden to someone else's plan. Follow your own.

Impressed with Cristy and her Code Red program.

I've been following the program for one week and I've lost 7 pounds. I feel great! I didn't realize how grains were effecting how I felt. The rules are simple and it fits into your lifestyle pretty easy.

my second time around..Inspiration

I have been following Cristy for a few years now. I lost 35 lbs. the first time around. such an easy concept. You really do feel Amazing on this change of life. I had a few tragedies happen in my life and I chose food and alchohol to get me through this time in my life. Gained the weight back. Now I'm healing myself. I find Cristys voice familiar and comforting to me. I loved this Audioable. I needed reminded of everything I knew but I needed to hear it again and again...Thank-you Cristy your my Rock Also I was sad when the book ended...We need another 😊

Keto straight up

I have read many books on diet and keto but Cristys plan is so much more. She talk’s about sleep, water, timed eating and so much more. Can’t wait to start the 10 lb challenge! Thanks you Christy, getting a little more strict is just what I need to lose the weight.
