Publisher's Summary

Look, maybe you're a nice girl, but we're guessing you're more like us or you probably wouldn't have downloaded this audiobook. Not that we have a problem with girls who are nice people. But being nice is just not the way to get what you want. And this audiobook is about getting what you want. Not in a finding happiness, giving back to the world, being grateful for what you have sort of way. But in a ruling your world, being the most desired, powerful badass in the room way, so you can come out on top of any situation: Guys, career, friends, enemies, whatever.

How does a betch make that happen? Here are some highlights:

  • Don't be easy.
  • Don't be poor.
  • Don't be ugly.

We didn't come up with these life lessons. We're just the ones who wrote it all down.

This is not self-help. Self-help is for fat people and divorcées. This is how to deal with your problems when you have no problems. You're welcome.

Taken with a light heart, this book is fabulous!

This book by no means is a guide to live a happy life nor should the advice in the book be taken seriously. That being said it is a very entertaining read scattered with some lessons of life that all young women encounter at some point in their lives. If you are in college or soon approaching, consider this book a part of your freshman orientation.

Waste of a Credit

What disappointed you about Nice Is Just a Place in France?

I'm 25 so maybe I am too old for this book - I can appreciate the humor and snark in this book but it is essentially a guide for idiot girls. Maybe I would have liked this when I was 18 or 19 but honestly its a bit too much for me now. However, if you're a hot mess who only likes to party their ass off then this book is for you.

Hilarious

If you are not a fan of satires (or don't get it) stay away from this one...

Has humor to it and very entertaining

I couldn't stop listening, kept me super amused. May not be your type of book if your over 30 it has a young vibe to it. And we'll the scenarios identify more with that younger age group.

Only if you're 18-22

This book has a few fun lines and obviously it's not meant to be taken too seriously - but I didn't enjoy it aside from a few lol moments from one liners. Not worth it. Sorry!

How to live your life by rich, coked out whores

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The only people I could see liking this book are sorority sisters and similar types of privileged, stupid girls who try to live their life by riding off other people's coattails (their parents, significant others, etc.)

Has Nice Is Just a Place in France turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes

What didn’t you like about Arika Rapson’s performance?

Her voice is very annoying and it sounded like she was trying to have an annoying voice purposefully.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I enjoyed the snarky, offensive jokes

Any additional comments?

The title of my review is what the book should have been called. I was only able to listen to a little over an hour of this audiobook before I had to turn it off. I am by no mean offended easily, but this book was so stupid and annoying, I could not listen to any more.

Best analogy I can think of is-pearls & crap

Let's say you swallowed a few pearls, then crapped them out and had to find them. You would dig through 90% poop to get to the pearls. That is the betches. There are a few here pearls and a whole lot of crap

Painful.

Any additional comments?

This book is a disgusting example of privilege and ignorance. I would caution any self respecting person to not spend a second of their time listening to this book.
