Pretty good start to a new series for me.

I enjoyed this story. I can't say that I love it as much as the PDA series, but it's still a really good story. Jordan and Arik are a really nice couple and I like the way their relationship is said to have built over years and not be one of those meet and instantly fall in love type stories. Not that there's anything wrong with those but this just seems a bit more believable. Well done to the author. Also, well done tot he narrator who did a great job bringing the characters to life in the audiobook. I'm looking forward to listening to book 2.

Book Great/Narration Help

The story line was strong and interesting. I was hooked from the beginning. The erotic description were hot as July summer in Florida, waiting to ride a ride at a theme park. The narrator sounds like an octave lower Fran Drescher. Very nasally at times, which were nails on a chalkboard. Give this book a try, just try not to focus on the voice.

Milly Taiden has done it again with this well written book. This book is laced with action, sarcastic wit, strong female characters, sexy shifters and plenty of steamy sex. It grabs you from the chapter one and takes you on an explosive magic ride until the very end leaving you wanting more. A true just read or listen to book.

good story!

I did like the story! The sex was pretty good! The only thing I would say, is that I couldn't really handle the narrator's voice. She did excellent work with the tone with what was happening in the story, but the sound of the woman's voice was very nasally and I just couldn't handle it. Normally with these kinds of stories that have sex in them you want to find both the male and the female attractive in some way. You want the male voice to be deep and manly and you want the female's voice to be more feminine. Unfortunately this voice just turned me off of her otherwise I would be getting the very next book.

Scent of a Sale.

Overall I liked the book, and it was good for a get away shifter book, but not overly engaging. The biggest thing that I didn’t like was there was literally no conversations between the two, only sex albeit hot, sweaty sex. Sure they knew each other from pre book, but I missed the build up to get to know each other. But I did get this audio on sale for $1, so the audio was worth the cost. I would read the next book if on a sale, but not for a full credit. Narrator was fairly good.
