Highly Effective Tips and Tricks for Overcoming Anxiety, Depression & Phobias!

If, despite your best efforts, you always seem to find yourself acting on impulses related to depression, anxiety, insecurity, or the fear associated with phobias, then your actions might not be to blame so much as your thoughts. If you are looking for a way to change your thoughts directly, then Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: 30 Highly Effective Tips and Tricks for Rewiring Your Brain and Overcoming Anxiety, Depression & Phobias is the book you have been waiting for.

CBT differs from many types of therapy in that it doesn’t worry about the hidden meanings behind the things you do and the thoughts you think; instead, it focuses on doing what needs to be done to get the results you are looking for. As such, it tends to be most effective for those who come to it with a specific problem.

What’s more, while CBT does have a specific guided component, many of its most effective exercises can be used at home to generate significant results. Inside you will find 30 of these exercises, explained and outlined so that they can be easily followed by anyone who has the dedication to see them through to completion. Before you know it, you could be changing your thought patterns for the better and improving virtually every aspect of your life as a result.

Inside you will find:

  • Exercises designed specifically to deal with anxiety, anger, depression, phobias, and more.
  • Surefire ways to get rid of everything from simple bad habits to core beliefs that negatively affect every aspect of your life.
  • The reasons why gum might be your new best friend when it comes to dealing with anxiety.
  • Four different options when it comes to facing your fears and coming out the other side stronger for the experience.
  • Tips for practicing mindfulness mediation.

A must-read, indeed.

What I liked about this book is that the topics covered were discussed in a concise and very comprehensible manner. You don't need to learn major scientific stuff to understand what David Clark is trying to discuss. I've learned so much about how the brain works and reacts to depression and other negative feelings we feel.

A great guide to a healthier mind!

I have always been a believer in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. For me in my minor issues, it has always been enough to help me. That being said I do believe that is some cases people genuinely have chemical imbalances and require medication. This book is a great guide to help you understand how they way you think may be detrimental to your mental health and guides you through ways to improve it.

Well organized. I highly recommended

The best way to go about doing so is through the use of a cognitive behavioral assessment which is made up of five key steps. First, you are going to want to determine the primary behaviors that are in play. Next, you are going to want to determine if the behaviors in question are either good or bad before then taking a look at the negative behaviors that you have uncovered in order to determine their frequency, duration and intensity.

Great book! loved it!

The most ideal approach to doing as such is using a subjective behavioral appraisal which is comprised of five key advances. To begin with, you will need to decide the essential practices that are in play. Next, you will need to decide whether the practices being referred to are either great or terrible before then investigating the negative practices that you have revealed with a specific end goal to decide their recurrence, span and force.
