5 stars from a new parent to be

This is a very well written book that has a lot of useful information to help new parents. I am expecting my first baby in July this year and think that this is a must have for any new parent out there - definitely one I'd recommend - 5 stars from me

Pretty informative

This was a great book and came with loads of extras, many of the extras seemed like repeats of the original book though

Distracted

I was so distracted by the fact that this was narrated by a dry sounding man that I couldn’t even focus. It’s really odd to hear a man giving advice about stretch marks and pregnancy.. and would imagine most other women would agree. When it comes to books on moms and pregnancy, it would be more comforting coming from a woman.

4 out of 5 stars!

The book explains in detail what kinds of bodily changes occur-during the pregnancy-from beginning to after the conception. However, it does not dwell on the biological aspects so that one does not have to be a rocket scientist, in order to understand it.

Very helpful book.

Very helpful book. I am not a mother yet but it is something I think I can use for the future should I choose to be one. I know that nothing comes with instructions but this can help me out a lot. Has some nice tips within it that I think both first time parents and parents who've had many children can learn. All in all, very helpful and nice insight.

Best Ever book

Overall however, I liked this journal and I will probably consider getting another one for my next pregnancy unless I come across something I like better in the meantime.Very useful book. I especially like the month to month chapters of what to expect in terms of development, sleep, feeding, etc. The book includes pictures of helpful positioning and other graphics that are essential to clarify the text. If I could change something, I would want a more extensive chapter on pumping and children with special needs.

Very thorough!

I bought this for my daughter when she had her first baby. She said she loved it and found it very informative, to the point that she asked for the follow up book, What to Expect the Second Year, when her baby turned 12 months.

Good listen for first time parents

I purchased this for my daughter who is a first time mom. It helped her channel her fears and feelings about becoming a mom and helped her track all of the different changes she was experiencing during her pregnancy. It also helped with upcoming doctors appointments and what to expect or take with her.

The book is very informative,.

The book is very informative for first time parents. I and my husband were all at sea as to how to go about things since I discovered that I was expecting but this book has given us good bearing and information about how we should approach the coming months. We think all expecting parents should own a copy!

Enjoyed listening to this audio.

Enjoyed listening to this audio. It was engaging, and had a variety of useful information regarding pregnancy, from conception all the way to birth (and even the first month post-birth). I learned a lot, and I will probably listen to it at least one more time.

Worth it

Gives you a great glimpse into each month of your child's first year. I guess you could just find the info online, but it's nice to have the book in hand, with a whole chapter dedicated to the upcoming month. One thing I didn't like was that the chapters are labeled slightly confusingly... when they say the third month, for example, they mean 2-3 months old, but that's easy to get over.

Super informative!

Super helpful going over everything in the first year just wish that I would have bought it before my baby arrived. It goes over a few things like naming the baby and stuff. I had purchased the book What to Expect When You're Expecting so I assume that this one would not cover anything before baby was born.

Very informative

I found the book very informative and supportive. Also I was kind of listening behind while my baby was way past the chapters I was listening, and some questions I was confused about or doubting if I had made the right decision or if I was listening my baby right were cover in the book and it boosted my confidence in my senses and gave me reassurance.
