Jocelyn Goodwin is a busy mom and the author of Help! I'm a New Mom, Spoons and Solids and Help! I'm A New Mom: Toddler Edition Having navigated early years parenting herself, Jocelyn knows that the idea of there being a 'right' way to parent is a myth. Her books focus on helping parents through the first 12 months of their baby's life in a way that works for their unique family situation. Her aim is to simplify parenting by encouraging parents to respond to their baby's cues and their own instincts. The eldest of five children, Jocelyn grew up taking care of her younger siblings and realized at a young age that she had both a talent and a passion for raising infants. As a young adult, she dedicated her free time to babysitting and reading parenting books, quickly becoming a fountain of information and the go-to baby consultant for her friends and family. She is a firm believer in the idea that parenting should be fun, and she is dedicated to finding ways to make the journey easier for others so they can focus on enjoying the precious time they have with their children.
