The Answers You Need!

I wish I had listened to this audiobook earlier on in my new mom days, I would have definitely been a lot kinder to myself, knowing that everything I was experiencing is a shared experience and that I am not alone. The book was easy to listen to, it went by so quickly I didn't even realize it was the end of the book! I love how the book brought in humor along with evidence-based practices too. Definitely a must-listen to!

Such a helpful book bundle!

I’m so glad I listened to these 2 books. They flow into one another so seamlessly.

In the first book, I like that the author gives tips for the different types of way to give birth. The scariest part for me is giving birth so I really appreciated that she gives self affirmation mantras to relax. The main theme of the book I think is to take care of yourself. Many chapters teach smart ways to put yourself first, recover from the pain, and the mindset shift I needed to follow these steps. As women and mothers, we tend to put others’ needs first but the author has taught me that when we feel good physically and mentally, everyone around us will benefit too.

My favourite part of the second book are the hacks to do baby-led weaning quickly especially because I’m so busy. The author even gives ingredients that can be easily found in any grocery stores and easily prepared into a meal. Super helpful and makes me excited and more confident to follow the steps. All in all, this book bundle is super helpful for new mums, I highly recommend it!

The Perfect Pair

SOOOOOO many of us go into child rearing with only surface level information. The stuff we see on TV cover the easy parts and there is information everywhere about everything, which can be overwhelming. As an audiobook this is perfect for preparing for your little arrival, caring for yourself and then the first year with him or her. Healing after recovery was something i knew when I KNEW... before that there was no warning or little hints.... This book covers that and helps you mentally prepare and just have general awareness so you can feel in control (as best we can). It tells you what to look out for and how to take this journey on like a super Mom. The audiobook came perfectly paired with a Spoons and Solids book which helps create awareness and readiness when the time comes, its soooo great to have the knowledge ahead of time so then when it's time to put it into action and you are too tired to do research, you already listened to this book. I love that the book goes into postpartum recovery, which a lot of baby books are focused on the baby. Mom's need care too!. Hats of the the author for creating 2 much needed and well through through books. If you are a new mom, or mom again, get this audiobook pair to help you prepare!

A Great Resource for New Parents

In the first book “Help I’m a New Mom’, I especially liked the chapter on sleep to learn what the typical # of hours babies sleep at different ages is. And I felt reassured to hear not to stress about milestones because every baby is different. Then in the next book “Spoons and Solids”, I found this guide priceless. It contains food ideas based on the baby’s age. And the last chapter offers recipes where Egg Muffins and Oat Fingers were my favorites.

Everything a first-time parent needs!

My husband and I are expecting our first child and are understandably nervous! There is so much conflicting information out there about the best ways to prepare, what changes to expect from your body, how to care for a newborn. what products to buy, etc. I was feeling so overwhelmed until I picked up this book. It is incredibly well-researched and has put us both at ease. My favorite part of this book is what to expect during the first week after bringing the baby home. I feel so much more confident and excited after finding this great resource and would recommend it to anyone who is expecting!
