Publisher's Summary

Genesis Kelley didn't just get her heart broken. The aspiring veterinarian had it crushed in front of millions of viewers on the dating reality show Marry Me. Now, just as she's getting her life and dignity back together, her royal heartbreaker, Prince Rafael of Monterra, has landed in Frog Hollow, Iowa. And he's renting out her aunt's guest cottage.

Deceiving TV audiences for his brother's sake cost Rafe the girl of his dreams. But he's going to fix it, even if it means moving from his mountain-kingdom home to small-town Iowa. A prince doesn't give up on his rightful princess - especially once he realizes Genesis is in deeper danger than she knows.

Between fixing her truck, whisking her off to Monterra for a whirlwind date, and charming the entire town, Rafe is thawing the ice around Genesis's heart. Will it be enough to earn back her trust, protect her from her past - and sweep her into a real-life fairy tale?

    "Wonderful Book"

This was the third book in the series, the second one for me to listen to as an audio book.

Sariah Wilson wrote another wonderful book. I completely enjoyed Rafe and Genesis's story!!

Lauren Ezzo narrated well. I preferred Cristina Panfilio from book 2, but enjoyed Lauren Ezzo's performance. Worth my time!

*I listened to this book through Kindle Unlimited.

"Book ok but narration grated on my nerves"

I really enjoyed the first 2 books of this series but could barely finish this one. The syrupy sweet heroine Genesis was too much as well as the verbage. The narrators high pitched voice and whiny tone almost ruined the book. If this had been the first book I definitely wouldn't have read the other two=(

    "Frustrating"

I struggled to finish listening to this book and it's a good thing I wasn't reading it because I would have thrown it out a long time ago. Genesis is a very frustrating woman she has no forgiveness and does so many stupid things it's enough to pull my hair out . Let's just say there's nothing memorable about this book.

I was a little annoyed by the main character's immaturity but overall this is very sweet and a little grandiose novel. Apparently, just how I like 'em. 5 stars.

    "Painful"

So many contrived and unrealistic scenarios! Characters that changed their stripes completely and then back again on consecutive pages. Aaaaaa! I love a good romance - even a pure fluff romance - but this one was just frustrating. A few good moments but then right back to ridiculous are-you-kidding-me drivel. Sorry. Can't recommend this one.

"Way too much put off :("
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes... The story went on and on...the female was just weak and ungrateful, unforgiving, never putting past behind her. She kept putting the guy off when there was no reason. I loved the first story. I never write bad reviews but it got in my nerves.

    Any additional comments?

The story line was good, it just went on way too long... I really loved first story.

    "I love Rafe!"

    WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Genesis Kelley didn’t just get her heart broken. The aspiring veterinarian had it crushed in front of millions of viewers on the dating reality show Marry Me. Between fixing her truck, whisking her off to Monterra for a whirlwind date, and charming the entire town, Rafe is thawing the ice around Genesis’s heart. Will it be enough to earn back her trust, protect her from her past—and sweep her into a real-life fairy tale?

    MY TAKE
I loved Genesis in ROYAL CHASE and looked forward to seeing her happily ever after. The poor kid had survived so much and still carried the scars from her early years. I found that understandable--to a point. I get that people who've had their power stolen tend to become control freaks. That's exactly what Genesis became, a control freak. She wanted her way in everything. The more Rafe did for her the more awful she became. In many ways her self-centeredness was dangerous, not just for herself but for Rafe. After all, there's a reason a prince has bodyguards. And Genesis never seemed to take his safety into consideration. Sometimes I wondered why he still pursued her.

I found Rafe to be the most sympathetic of the two love interests. He'd also suffered a terrible loss. I both loved this book but also wanted to beat my head against the wall at time. The ending was satisfying, but I'm still trying to decide if I think Genesis deserved Rafe.

As a gamer myself, I really loved that they were both gamers. I enjoyed seeing that be part of their story.

I loved the narrator. She did a great job.

    4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

    "Really???"

The leading female in this story ruined the entire book for me. She repeatedly was so stupid I can't imagine anyone wanting to marry her. UGH. Poor Prince.

"Lost a star due to the ending"

It was all going so well (up to about the last 4 or 5 chapters) until Genesis started getting on my nerves. I get wariness and hesitation but how many different ways can a man prove his love and have it thrown in his face. How many times will that woman throw away what she really wants for the most inane reasons. All this Christian attitude but not an ounce of forgiveness. I get enough of that in the real world. I'm reading this stuff for escape, not reality!

Meanwhile, she wouldn't even let him explain anything! Is she even an adult? Have a conversation at least before you fling him to the curb. By the end I just didn't care about a heroine who acted ungrateful, unreasonable, and immature. Rafe deserved better.
