This is a small town, marriage of convenience romantic comedy with plenty of sizzle while keeping the bedroom door closed. It's the first in a spinoff series following Harper's brothers (from Falling for Your Best Friend). You don't need to have listened to the Love Clichés series first to enjoy this book.

Good enough that I kept listening until the end

The cadence in reading from both people was a little annoying and hard to ignore. It was mostly a good story. Sweet ending. The way he kept pushing when she said no was a little triggering, but knowing that she liked it made it more tolerable.

What a cute story with out a bunch of sex scenes. Nothing wrong with a great clean read. Narration was really good as well.

It was okay

The narrators were just okay and listening to audio books, that matters. I probably won't listen to more of the series just for that reason. I don't like to throw shade but, IMHO, they were just mediocre. Sorry!

For a clean book, this book sure has a lot of passion. Which I like because although I don't like reading/listening to graphic sex scenes, why can't 'clean' books contain passion??
