Publisher's Summary

What could come between a nanny and an earl in a fairy-tale love story? A reality check—in an endearing and witty romance by Sariah Wilson, the bestselling author of Roommaid.

With her sister’s medical bills mounting, Diana Parker can’t say no to a high-paying opportunity like this: accompany a wealthy couple to Aspen and nanny their precocious five-year-old son for three months. Necessary qualifications? She must know how to ski and teach math, speak fluent French, excel at social graces, and hold a master’s degree in childhood development. Who’ll be the wiser that Diana’s only skill is packing for Colorado?

So far, so good—having a con woman for a mother has turned out to be a benefit, even if Diana has complicated feelings about telling lies. But she’s doing this for her sister. And the perks—like a ticket to a lavish charity fundraiser, a new gown, and a Prince Charming-adjacent earl named Griffin Windsor—are pretty irresistible. Diana can’t deny the Cinderella vibe.

Wary of gold diggers and scandal, England’s most eligible bachelor is nevertheless falling for Diana, and sweeping the not-quite princess off her feet.

The warmer their relationship becomes, the slipperier the slopes are for Diana. Sooner or later, she’ll have to come clean. When that happens, does an honest-to-goodness happy ending stand a chance?

A Fun, Sweet, (at times) Heartbreaking Romance

I've read/listened to a few books written by Sariah Wilson. She is an excellent author. This was a fun, sweet, and at times heart breaking romance. It was perfect to listen to before diving back into darker listens. I really enjoyed this one.

Marli Watson is an excellent narrator. She did both male and female voices well! Easy to listen to for longer periods of time. Great performance!!

*I listened to this audiobook through the Kindle Unlimited program.

Cinder-Nanny

I enjoyed this one, I wasn't expecting a lot I didn't know going in that I would enjoy it like I did.
Diana just wants to help her sister who needs an expensive surgery. So she lies to get a job she is under qualified to get.

But she is awesome at the job of nanny to a little fella.

The falling for someone wasn't in the cards but it happens and they both navigate it.
I liked that lying was hard for her and she knew she had to come clean and how the reaction happened it was very low on the drama which I liked.

Great narration, she did well with the accents and I would totally listen to her again.

Great read

I very much enjoyed this clean romance. I rarely like a romance with no spice.

All the fairytale you need!

Wilson does it again. Happily Ever After at your fingertips...or ears. Cinder-Nanny is everything you expect from the title, everything you want, and will leave you smiling.

Marli Watson does a very impressive job as the narrator. She handles the accents and different characters as they should be- individually. I actually questioned if there was a second narrator at times. i love the ability to get lost in the story without being thrown back into reality but the narration. I tip my hat to you Ms. Watson.

I had a lovely time being swept of my feet by the Earl of Strathorn.

Cute

I was ready for a quick, easy, light-hearted read ... and this fit the bill. Included in KindleUnlimited with text and audio. I went with the audio edition and liked it. This definitely was an "insta-love" romance. Unlike so many romances out there, this didn't have a ton of the angst/misunderstandings that can be SO frustrating to me (reading, I know the whole story of course). The "Cinderella" angle wasn't huge, but she is the poor/help and he the "prince" and there was a little "shoe" tie-in. And on that thought ... there was an exchange between our MC and her employer ...

"what size shoe do you wear?” she asked.
“Ten.”
She looked discouraged for a second.
“I wear an eleven."

I used to work in the shoe department of a department store. We only carried women's sizes 6-9 (what they assumed most average women would fit). To have two unrelated women that both have feet on the larger size ... this seemed so odd to me, a play on the traditional tiny-footed Cinderella?

Clean - I'm not recalling any language or sexual situations.

Good Story

I thought the story was very cute. I felt it might have been a little too slow at parts but very sweet read.

I want my hard earned credit back, please

I couldn't bear it beyond chapter 10. This is the story of a 23 years old woman with a brain of a 10 years old child and hormons of a teenager . The author repeat every other line how hot and handsome the guy is and much she wants to make out. I got it the first 500 times mentioned in the first 5 chapters thank you!. The final drop was in chapter ten when this man is sharing something painful and personal and this joke of heroine only can think about how handsome he is and his lips and other non sense already told 1000s times before.
Please, clean and wholesome doesn't mean half brain repressed characters.

Such a great “fairytale” book

I enjoyed this book immensely. The story was fun, made me chuckle out loud. I can’t wait to listen to the next book from Sariah. The narrator was great. Audible is about the book but also the narrator.

People Who Actually Communicate

This is a thoroughly enjoyable love story. It’s full of heart; it’s funny, and fun. It’s refreshingly clean, and so refreshing to have characters who are truly kind and thoughtful.

Nice story, poor British accent!

Another gentle story from Sariah. The only problem with it are the British accents - not quite right and bad pronunciations.

Fails to shine

The outline of the story looked good. In fact if you have read that you have pretty much read the story. This book had a OK first couple of chapters and then just stagnated from there. I have read many Sariah Wilson books usually they are a bit of fun and a little different. I rarely give a negative review but this book was pitiful.

Narration was great but they didn't give her a lot to work with.
