Publisher's Summary

"You've done better."

With one uncharacteristically sassy tweet to her longtime celebrity crush, Zoe Miller's life turns upside down. Ultrahot A-lister Chase Covington doesn't just respond to Zoe's tweet, he does the unthinkable: he messages Zoe directly. Now she must decide between walking away or meeting her crush in person.

Chase knows better than to trust anyone from the Internet, but Zoe's saucy challenge has totally caught his interest - and her girl-next-door personality is keeping it. He's been burned enough to know he needs to keep his heart close. But his feelings for Zoe might be a lot more than just an online flirtation. He just has to convince her...

When the press gets wind of Zoe and Chase's secret relationship, their romance turns into tabloid headlines. Will they be able to hold on to their Hollywood love story?

😀

So Good! It was really funny. Interesting mention of James Cruz and the Monterran Royals. I was surprised Bellamy Sullivan didn't have a cameo at the mention of stylists and dresses.
I read and listened to this book twice already, it is that good. The narrator was awesome.

MY TAKE
This is a fun read, and Wilson knows how to build sexual tension without crossing the line into open door scenes which I prefer not to read about. The story did seem to center a lot on the physical parts of the relationship, which was my only complaint. I would have loved to see just a bit more of the mental/emotional connection Zoe and Chase have going for them. They're there. They just take the back seat to the physical attraction.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was great!

Goody goody syrupy sweet

I’m 3/4 in and I’m done! It’s a goody goody syrupy sweet story without an ounce of drama or conflict (unless you count the insecurity of the female lead). I’m guessing there will be a bit of drama with her best friend near the end but I don’t really care at this point. The coincidences in the beginning were totally unbelievable and it didn’t get much better from there. The narration was great and the writing was pretty good but the story was boring. This book should have been labeled as young adult even though the lead characters are in their 20’s.

Very entertaining

Good entertaining book with a sassy and funny girl who wasn't afraid to tell her Hollywood crush what she thought of one of his movies. I really liked this story. I borrowed it on unlimited and intend to buy it. I am now reading Moonstruck, the next book in the series.

Fawning by the female lead over the top

The over the top fawning by Zoe over Chas detracted from the overall story. Her lack of confidence and thinking the movie star was better than her was a pretty sad characteristic for a female lead.

DNF

Crazy fan stalks celeb and he’s into it. Hated the premise. Couldn’t get very far in
