Mister McHottie is the hilariously sexy prequel to the Copper Valley Thrusters series, where you’ll first meet the twin tank hockey players who inspired the next books. Story
If I had to pick a bride of convenience, my first choice would not be Peach Maloney. My 50th choice would not be Peach. Top spot on my list of occupational hazards? Yes. Royal pain in the crumpets? Yes. A bride of convenience? No. But I've unexpectedly gone from royal bodyguard to monarch, having inherited a crown that was stolen from my family long before my birth. The kicker? In order to take the throne, I must find a wife. Have I mentioned Peach would not have been my 100th choice? But I've no other options, and she needs a favor that my new position can fulfill quite nicely.

There are three things I hate: Bratwurst in any form, my neighbors boinking like farm animals at 3 AM, and Chase Jett. Mostly I hate Chase Jett. It's been 10 years since he took my virginity - I'd make a bratwurst joke, but the unfortunate truth is that it would have to be a brat-best joke, and yes, it kills me to admit that - and now he's not only a billionaire, he's also my new boss.

If the Upper East Side had an evil twin, it would be Tickled Pink, Wisconsin. This run-down, backwoods town isn’t worthy of the footprint of my Louboutins, never mind all of me. But when my grandmother has a near-death experience and realizes we Lightlys can’t buy our way into heaven, she relocates the family to Tickled Pink to work on improving our souls. And that’s how I trade my heiress existence for gigantic bugs, dishwater coffee, and a cranky single dad named Teague Miller.

I knocked up my best friend's sister. Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist. Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Now I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

When you work hard and have the bank account to prove it, you're entitled to play hard. I've seen some crazy things. I've caused some crazy scenes. And there's no shame in my game. But I'm still knocked off my stilettos when an insane chain of events leads to me inheriting a baby. The craziest part? My heart opens to Cooper Haywood the moment we meet. How can it resist? He's charming, devastatingly handsome, and sweeps me off my feet before I realize the impact he's making. And then it's too late. We fall too fast to worry about the consequences. We love so hard that we ache when we're apart. Even though I have a past that still haunts me and he has a future that could put us at risk, none of that matters when we're together. Until it does. And then everything changes.

If people have polar opposites, Luca Rossi is mine. His butt is in the baseball hall of fame. Mine's comfortably seated in the hall of lame. When he's not snagging fly balls out in center field, he's modeling in shampoo commercials. I once jammed my own finger while stirring cookie dough, and sometimes I forget shampoo is a thing. He's a total cynic when it comes to love. I make a living writing love stories. But after my latest broken engagement (no, I don't want to talk about how many times that's happened), it's clear he's exactly the man I need.

The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow. The first time I met Merrick Crawford was during my job interview. Well, technically, I’d met him 20 minutes earlier when he’d barged into a fitting room a few doors down from my appointment. I yelled. He yelled. After an argument while standing in my bra, I proceeded to smash the door into the gorgeous jerk, trying to yank it shut. As you might imagine, I was freaked out when I discovered that the rude guy was my potential new boss. Yet he didn’t seem to recognize me. Or so I thought.... Until we wound up bickering again during my interview and he told me to go sniff my armpit.

Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby. Which is why she agrees to go to Sunshine Falls, North Carolina, for the month of August when Libby begs her for a sisters’ trip away.

Publisher's Summary
He's a billionaire heir. A grump supreme. Hater of people. Bigger hater of peopling with people. And my new fake boyfriend.
"Emotionally unavailable" doesn’t even begin to describe Hayes Rutherford. He’s cold. He’s distant. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement.
My job’s simple: Keep Hayes’ matchmaking relatives, and all interested ladies, away from the cranky, grumpy walled-off heir to my favorite movie empire, by pretending to be his one true love; and in return, he won’t ruin my life over a teensy tiny little misunderstanding.
But the more I sneak past his walls and fences, the more I realize that, while we might be from different worlds, we have more in common than either of us expected. The man under all the glitz, glamour, and dollar signs could be the real love of my life.
But you know what they say about fake-dating a billionaire: It’s all fun and games, until the scandals start.
The Last Eligible Billionaire is a swoony, laugh-out-loud romance, featuring a botched wax job, a woman in over her head, a man in over his heart, and the sweetest misguided dog to ever play matchmaker...or at least make sure these two anti-love birds never have clothes when they get out of the shower. It stands alone, and comes complete with grand romantic gestures.

Had me laughing out loud at work
Pippa never ceases to amaze me with her wit and storytelling.
I binge listened on audible to this book as I couldn't wait any longer to get to it.
I laughed so hard so many times while listening to this one. The banter and the narrators truly made this a great one.
This book hit me in all the feels, the way B feels is honestly what many married mid 30s women feel at one point or another and the way her quirkiness overtakes this grumpy scared man is wonderful.
I would absolutely love to this particular story come to life someday as it would make for a wonderful chick flick.
I also have to admit i did cry a couple of times while listening to this story, and again i think it's because while it is wildly fantastical - the feelings or emotions hit close to home, and that for me is what keeps me binging every new release from Pippa. I forget I'm reading. it's like the characters are like people I know. Well done as usual Ms. Grant!!!

Excellent Story
I have over 2681 books in my library. Some authors attempt to write romance books. This author takes you into the story she makes you feel what the character feels this is something most authors never know how to do. Even though this is a Cinderella story I could see it happening in real life. Great love story!

Ridiculous…even for a rom-com.
Begonia is so unlikeable. Hayes is also unlikeable. Hope they manage to fall for each other is not even remotely believable. The attempts at slapstick comedy are tragic. “You can’t buy my love!”…but that’s literally all he does the whole book. All I listen to is rom-com and this is the worst one yet. And Teddy Hamilton speaking in a woman’s voice will forever garner a one star performance. Virginia Rose was good though.

An unassuming billionaire falls for a creative mess.
Gosh, I enjoy Pippa Grant’s books so much. While this wasn’t one of my top favorites, I adored the character of Begonia. Her quirks were just a delight to me. Hayes was also quite refreshing as a billionaire that actually didn’t feel like a billionaire.
All in all though, the story could have used a little more oomph, but if you’re looking for a fun, easy read, this is it.
I just loved how Hayes loved Begonia. He went all in and in a way that supported her growth.
The narration was top tier, which for me, elevated the story. Teddy Hamilton’s Hayes had that sort of grounded voice that I imagined. Virginia Rose knocks it out of the park with her narration. She’s just so good in Pippa’s books.
A pleasing read, especially if you’re a fan of fun romcoms.

Swoony and just love that dog!
Marshmallow! Ok, so he's the dog, but I am a huge dog lover, and he just added a layer of humor to this hysterically funny and swoony romcom! Begonia is found renting Hayes Rutherford's home. Is it really for rent? The grumpy billionaire is not taking to his new tenant, until he decides to blackmail her into being his fake girlfriend. She could be the answer to his meddling mother. But what he gets is the most refreshing and funny story that I have had the chance to listen to in a long time. Pippa Grant creates the best characters, and Begonia is just fantastic. A free spirit, finds the light in everything and is ultimately the spreader of happiness. Hayes's grumpiness can only last for so long around her, no? You will have to find out for yourself! I really enjoyed this listen as Hayes has truly met his match! And of course, Marshmallow. He is the best dog!
To make this story even better, the team of Teddy Hamilton and Virginia Rose deliver a performance that had me laughing and enjoying all the feels this story had. From frustrating family, to passion filled romance, this had a little bit of everything and these two fell into character giving us the best of them. I love them together!

What a wonderful book. Full of Pippa fun. A very intelligent and instigating dog. Great Characters. Low angst. This was a great introduction book to these characters, I hope there will be more books from the secondary characters and I can’t wait to know all their stories. The narration was fabulous. This book is brilliant! A truly wonderful romance, with the genius addition of Marshmallow, the most bonkers dog ever! 🐕 Laugh out loud funny moments all the way through.
I listened to the whole story twice through initially, as once just wasn't enough, and have just completed it for a third time a few weeks later.
The first Pippa Grant book I had listened to, but I loved it so much that I've been working my way through some of her others.
Wonderful narration by Virginia Rose, and Teddy Hamilton, who once again absolutely nails the narration of a grumpy, emotionally stunted man, and his slow rebuilding of confidence.

4.5 Stars
Pippa Grant definitely knows how to write a good Rom Com. I laughed often with all the rest of the good feels. Plus a few spicy moments were thrown in.

Another 5⭐ romcom from Pippa
A disastrous first meeting between Hayes and Begonia turns into a fake dating relationship. Hayes is fed up with family trying to marry him off to "socially acceptable" women and so uses Begonia who has a quite unique personality. I loved her rescue dog Marshmallow.
The narrators did an excellent job of bringing the story to life ❤

Love Marmalade
I really loved the mad antics of the dog. Not so much the actual story. Felt the hero was a bit too whiney and poor me. The heroine was a bit too good to be true. It was a bit predictable what was going to happen . Overall it was OK

Didn't warm to heroine
My problem with this book is that I didn't really warm to the heroine. I found her annoying from the start and wanted to put it down after the first chapter. Maybe a different narrator might have helped, I don't know. It could just be me personally but it was a struggle to convince myself to finish it.
I will say it was well written and there were some funny parts that had me laughing out loud. Especially with the dog!

Don't waste your time or money
Dnf @ 40%. The FMC really ruined this for me. She unlikeable, annoying and childish.

Looooooooooooooved it
Funny quirky literally spat drink out during bits… super cringe romantic awesomeness!!! Undoubtedly I wanted more in fact it was sad to finish. Would have liked only more is the only downside, it built up really sweetly and I loved that this highlighted the second chance for something more after divorce. Very witty banter and overall story was an obvious cliche but was entertaining and totally worth the smiles and giggles it provoked.
Light hearted enough with some pretty deep waters to sink just enough into without crying along only to be swept up in the characters with robust personalities.
I don’t leave a written review unless I’d recommend it because I’d gladly reread but in this case the visuals this gave was rewarding enough to merit the review and hope that who ever needs a fun read to keep them distracted from the rest of the world for a while will gladly do so and enjoy it as have I.
The story will make you laugh out loud, cringe in the over the top declared emotions in parts, seek cover when you blush from the naughty moments which were definitely well placed and fall head over heels in love with the narration that brought it to life.
I’m smiling still as I think fondly of this book and finally add Ive never thought a dog could steal the stage without it being a pg read and I bow and admit I was delighted to be wrong. Thanks Pippa for your story on what otherwise would have been a difficult day for myself on Mother’s Day I was able to escape my grief in your world.
I’m sure Teddy you get compliments all the time but dam the timber in your voice *sigh *fanning self and Virginia thanks for making quirky and playful also adorable and sexy !!!
