Accents almost made me DNF
The story was good. It felt like a Hallmark Christmas movie. The narrator put on accents that were almost to the point that it was unbearable. I don’t understand why we are using accents. All it does is make it hard to understand and I can’t use it as background noise because I have to focus on what they’re trying to say…

Short and So Sweet
I really enjoyed this short and sweet story through Audible. Of course, I am a sucker for anything close to Roman Holiday. The narrator gets an A for effort but tbh the accents were distracting. Thankfully, the princess adopted English for most of the story. Callum was almost as lovely as Darcy.

A Ball!
This was the least believable of the bunch. Maybe because it involved fictional places? Though I'm fine with a bit of fantasy in my fiction! But I do love Ilaria's love affair with her sexy Scot! (or Dune? something like that.) I love the idea that they got this perfect day together. And a full on Princess Ball!

The audible voice was getting in the way.
