Publisher's summary

Finding love in a divisive world has come down to the luck of the draw.

At 25, Graham is an alpha werewolf that’s just come of age and that means one thing - it’s time to settle down. However, with so many omegas to choose from, an alpha is stuck hoping he picks the right name from a number of potential mates. The CEO of Roll Over needs a submissive lover, one that will support him in his business ventures.

Parker is an omega and Graham’s life-long friend. Upon reaching puberty, he was rounded up and tossed into an omega safe zone, like all other omegas. When he’s dragged to a mate choosing ceremony, Parker never considers the alpha waiting for him on the other side of the curtain might be the alpha he’s been dreaming of.

When the two are finally reunited, sparks fly - and not just romantic ones. Coming from two very different lifestyles, will Graham and Parker rise to the challenge of a real relationship? Or will they come undone after so many years apart?

Pick of the Litter is a gay, mpreg, shifter romance audio book. It is intended for adults only and guarantees a happily ever after ending for the main characters.

Good

I didn't like this book as much as the others I've read by this author. It's still a good read, just not one of my favorites. I like both Graham and Parker and I love a happy ending but I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe next time I listen to it I'll like it a little bit more.

Excellent Book

I loved the story. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the book. The narrator did a great job. He brought the story to life and made the characters more realistic.

Fun loving relationship

Really enjoyed the story. l liked the caring, loving alpha willing to compromise so his spouse was happy. The omegas sweet nature and humor. Narrator did a good job with so many different characters in the story.

So enjoyed Pick of the Litter!

I love shifter romances and this one did not disappoint. Graham and Parker had been childhood friends. As an omega werewolf Parker is sent to an omega safe zone as an adolescent. Graham writes him and sends chocolate. Although they keep in touch, their lives over the next decade are very different. When an alpha reaches 25, it’s time to marry and settle down. Graham and Parker are surprised and excited to find out they will be mated. Their wedding night is great, but then reality intrudes. Out of date ideas strictly outline omega behavior. This is where the trouble begins. Although Graham is forward thinking, he still feels bound by the conventions of werewolf society. Graham and Parker struggle to find a middle ground. Listen to this book and enjoy their attempts to make a life together. The narrator was so wonderful to listen to. Thank you Liam for another wonderful story.

Great Story

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. I enjoyed listening to Graham and Parker's story. Parker was taken away at a young age due to his status of being an Omega. Graham knew Parker from when they were kids and kept in touch with him through letters, he even would send him a candy bar that was against the rules but he didn't care to have Parker happy. On his 25th birthday Graham was to pick his mate, he winds up pulling Parker's name. They butt heads when Parker finds out that Graham is the CEO of a business that supposedly wants to help omegas but they don't see eye to eye on how to keep them safe. In the end things work out between them and Parker is happy to know that his omega twin sons won't have to go through what he did growing up.

Graham & Parker

Alpha wolves rule the world with an iron fist; they do not allow Omegas or Betas any happiness. Omegas are locked away and tortured "for their own good." Parker wants things to change and trying to convince Graham is difficult. Graham has to work against years of brainwashing that Omegas are stupid. The narration pace was good.

A heart stopping story!

When you listen to this book you may find yourself pulling for the underdog. Omega Parker will fight for his rights and the rights of other Omega's. Graham will put his considerable pull to help. A wonderful story narrated by a powerful voice!

Good Boy!

Not your typical sweet shifter Mpreg. He really takes a chance at building a grittier world with this one. I look forward to hearing it again.
Not your traditional meeting of Alpha and Omega.
Not wild about the performance, but easy to follow and keep up with.
Full disclosure I received a copy for free in exchange for a honest review.

Deeper than I thought

Most alpha /Omega romances are very straight forward. They met, they fall in love, probably babies, hea...this one also has a happy ending, but it has one ugly segregation system in place for alphas and omegas. It doesn't just talk about love, but about society and it's indifference (unfairness). I liked it a lot!

Opression is never right!!

This is a really thought provoking and almost true to life book! The parallel's between our society now days and the way this society exists in this book and acts in this thought provoking book is extraordinarily close to reality. My hat goes off to Mr. Kingsley for giving us this really great book! The narration by Mr. Bo Alexander only adds to the over all enjoyment of this book! The angst, the character development, the story/plot flow effortlessly across and just drags you into the story and you feel like you know these people and can empathies with their plight! I fully enjoyed both the "E" book and the Audible book version of this story! An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.
